It’s official now: Trump says he’s been indicted. We should have been bracing for it ever since the Bragg indictment over the Stormy Daniels payments. If they can stretch the legalese as they did in that case, Trump will be screwed in all legal actions he’s currently facing, which is part of the Democrats’ plan. It’s to keep this man and the presumptive Republican nominee, as of now, entangled in endless legal drama and render the GOP incapable of effectively campaigning across the board. You can’t do that when your presidential nominee is facing multiple trials.

Former President Donald Trump on Thursday posted on Truth Social that he’s been indicted, “seemingly over the Boxes Hoax,” and that he’s been summoned to appear at the Federal Courthouse in Miami on Tuesday at 3pm.
According to the NY Times, Trump faces seven charges, and is expected to surrender himself to authorities in Miami on Tuesday.

We’re not quite through the first half of 2023, but just for fun, let’s take a stab at what we might expect to occur in the second half, at least as it pertains to gold and silver prices.
It’s early June, and the next FOMC meeting is one week away. Will the Fed hike the fed funds rate another 25 basis points or will they pause and take time to assess the economic damage that has already been done? We can’t know the answer to that question, but whether they do or whether they don’t, the forecast for the remainder of 2023 will remain the same.

Scientists from Johns Hopkins University and Lund University examined almost 20,000 studies on measures taken to protect populations against Covid across the world.
Their findings suggest that lockdowns in response to the first wave of the pandemic, when compared with less strict policies adopted by the likes of Sweden, prevented as few as 1,700 deaths in England and Wales. In an average week there are around 11,000 deaths in England and Wales.

I have in a number of articles explained the fate of truth tellers. They live a high risk, low reward life. Chris Hedges explains in his article below what is happening to Matt Taibbi, formerly Rolling Stone magazine’s top attraction. Taibbi, is a leftwinger who told the truth and was punished for doing so. Today he is being persecuted by the IRS for reporting the Twitter files released by Elon Musk which show that the FBI pressured Twitter to censor truth tellers on every subject.
