According to The Wall Street Journal, George Soros is planning to buy bankrupt Vice Media at a valuation of around $400 million.
Vice Media, which once had a valuation of $5.7 billion, went woke and is now broke, is set to be acquired out of bankruptcy at a valuation of around $400 million by Fortress Investment Group and Soros Fund Management, according to The Wall Street Journal, citing people familiar with the matter.

A report, published by Challenger, Gray, Christmas, and Nash (okay, I added the “Nash”), found that 528 jobs were lost in the first month of 2024:
The Media industry, which includes television, film, streaming, and News, announced 836 job cuts in January, down 24% from the 1,093 announced in the industry in December. It is up 11% from the 754 cuts announced in the same month last year.

Advertisers are abandoning customers to abide by agendas. Our own government is labeling many of us as “terrorists” for the simple act of disagreeing.

Did you know that cleverly hidden in the National Defense Authorization Act of 2013 was an update to the Smith-Mundt Act, removing a ban on the CIA propagandizing the American people?
I did not know that myself until a few minutes before writing this, but I have suggested on a number of occasions that the CIA must have a fair amount of ownership over most American media houses. I based that on the fact that the CIA was smuggling heroin into the United States during the Vietnam War (in the pallets under the coffins of dead US soldiers – the CIA even had special pallets made specifically for this purpose) and was then selling that heroin to fund off-books’ black ops’ in such places as Laos and Cambodia.

A recent piece by The Associated Press articulates a fascinating talking point among the Left: That Republicans’ insistence on securing the southern border is allegedly nothing more than the result of Russian disinformation.
According to AP, Russian state media and online accounts linked to Moscow have disseminated and magnified deceptive and provocative content regarding U.S. immigration policy. This orchestrated campaign is allegedly designed to fuel outrage and division in the lead-up to the 2024 election. Experts analyzing Russian disinformation claim there will be further efforts, as Putin aims to undermine support for Ukraine and disrupt a crucial supply of aid.
