The Federalist put out a great piece on the recently published Durham report titled, “Don’t Miss The Most Damning Durham Finding.” The author, Margot Cleveland, did a great job of highlighting the important aspects of this 306-page Durham report. In Durham’s introductory comments, he states that he “does not recommend any wholesale changes in the guidelines and policies.”

Analyst and financial writer John Rubino says this time, the so-called debt ceiling fight could end in a systemic failure. Rubino points out, “In a well-run society, the debt limit would be zero. Governments should not borrow money in the first place. The amount of money we are borrowing is catastrophic. Historians are going to look back at this era, and they are just going to wonder why we allowed it to happen and what were we thinking. We are destroying the global financial system by allowing governments to borrow this much money. The debt limit thing is being called a crisis, and if they let it go too far, it will be a crisis. . . . I think this game of chicken will end in the not-too-distant future, and if it doesn’t, they have an ulterior motive. They want to crash the economy because that achieves something for them. We can speculate about this. The party in power wants to crash the economy, and that is a very dark scenario. . . . They are willing to burn down the world around them to get what they want. Look at Russia-gate and the contents of the Durham Report.

Cranston, RI — The rampant hypocrisy and double standards often seen in the world of politics took a hard hit recently when police in Rhode Island, in a rare move of accountability, arrested a city council member who was found asleep at the wheel with a glass pipe in hand. Matthew Reilly, a Cranston City Council member, has since resigned from his position. In a one-sentence letter, Reilly said, “I hereby submit my resignation as the Ward Six City Councilperson, effective immediately.”

Imagine literally being upset about your state government preventing you from physically removing the genitals from your minor child. It’s difficult to do, I know, because the very idea of butchering the body of a child is foreign to you, but there are a lot of people wildly upset by just that idea. Just as there is a slice of the public, small as it is, demanding Bud Light completely destroys itself in the name of “tolerance.” Then there are the wealthy white liberals who, as if it were a sexual fetish of theirs, demand they and their children, and by extension everyone’s children, be indoctrinated into the idea that they are responsible for things done by people who aren’t them that happened long before they were born. You really have to wonder what the hell is wrong with these people.

A 30-ton shipment of ammonium nitrate, a chemical used as both fertilizer and as a component in explosives, has gone missing during a rail shipment between Wyoming and California last month, resulting in four separate investigations.
A railcar loaded with some 60,000 pounds of the chemical left Cheyenne, Wyoming on April 12, only to be found empty two weeks later at a rail stop in the Mojave Desert, according to a short incident report from the firm which shipped the ammonium, KQED reports.
