The Middle East has always been a powder keg, but since the Hamas terrorist attack against Israel, and Israel’s ongoing response, we are closer to WWIII than at any time in our history.

No matter ones personal feelings regarding the War between Israel and Hamas, a group America designated a terrorist group on October 8, 1997, along with 13 other groups, as shown at the State Department list of Foreign Terrorist Organizations, no one wants to see WWIII, which inevitably would turn into a nuclear war.

The fact is nuclear powers are taking sides, which has happened before without resulting in a world war, but this time we are seeing attacks against U.S. embassies and U.S. military bases in the Middle East. We see our warships being deployed, as well as additional troops and missile systems, into an area on the brink of explosion.

Secret underwater microphones designed to detect enemy submarines were the first to detect the Titan tragedy. And they did so days ago just hours after the submersible began its voyage, pointing to a coverup.

The United States Navy began listening for the Titan almost immediately after the sub lost communications with its support ship, according to a U.S. defense official. Not long after that, the U.S. microphone system picked up what was thought to be the sound of an implosion near the debris site.

Wagner Chief Yevgeny Prigozhin on Friday threatened to stage a military coup against Russia’s Ministry of Defense using his personal 25,000-strong mercenary army.

Russian President Vladimir Putin has reportedly been moved to a secure location and the FSB has opened a criminal case against Prigozhin for “incitement to an armed rebellion.”

Prigozhin claimed earlier today that a Wagner camp was hit by the Russian military.

The Wall Street Journal has confirmed based on Kremlin statements that “As part of the agreement, Prigozhin will leave Russia for Belarus, and criminal charges against him will be dropped, Putin’s spokesman Dmitry Peskov said. The US State Department has issued a rare ‘do not travel’ notice for American citizens in Lebanon. It is also allowing non-emergency personnel and family members of US government personnel at the embassy to depart the country “due to the unpredictable security situation”.

The updated advisory which first went out Tuesday has been raised to Level 4: Do Not Travel. The advisory lays out deteriorating safety “related to rocket, missile, and artillery exchanges between Israel and Hizballah or other armed militant factions.”

The Biden administration on Monday announced a $2 billion loan for Poland that will go toward modernizing Warsaw’s military.

“Today, the United States is proud to announce the signing of a milestone $2 billion Foreign Military Financing (FMF) direct loan agreement to support Poland’s defense modernization,” the State Department said in a press release.

The State Department said the US would also provide $60 million in FMF funds to cover the cost of the loan. The press release described Warsaw as a “stalwart US ally” as Poland has become a major hub for arms shipments to Ukraine and spends more on its military than most European NATO members.

If the fighting could have been limited to just Israel and Hamas, I think that there would have been a zero percent chance of Israel using nuclear weapons. But now it appears that Hezbollah, Syria, Iran and potentially other parties are likely to get involved too, and that means that Israel will literally be fighting a war of national survival. If it gets to a point where the Israelis think that they could potentially be overrun by their enemies, they aren’t going to leave their most powerful weapons on the shelf.
