Has World War III already begun?
That’s not a facetious question meant to grab attention. It’s a legitimate question.
It’s often the case that momentous events begin in small ways and expand out of control. In retrospect, it seems obvious that war was inevitable. But at the time, it’s not obvious at all. Events might seem disconnected and it’s far from obvious that war is inevitable.
Historical hindsight is 20/20.

Slovakia will veto any attempt by Kiev to join the bloc, Prime Minister Robert Fico has promised
Bratislava will block Ukraine’s bid to join the US-led NATO alliance and will stand by a decision to stop supplying weaponry to the country, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico has said.
He made the remarks on Saturday ahead of his visit to meet his counterpart Denis Shmygal in the western Ukrainian city of Uzhgorod. Fico stressed that his trip serves solely “humanitarian” purposes and promised to openly communicate Bratislava’s stance to Kiev on different issues, including potential accession to the EU or NATO membership.

On September 1, 2023, the Russian government announced that it had placed its Sarmat intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) on “combat duty.”
Russian media news outlet RIA quoted the head of Roscosmos — Russia’s space agency — Yuri Borisov, noting: “the Sarmat strategic complex has been put on combat duty.”
The Sarmat ICBM can be nuclearly equipped and was previously praised by Russian President Vladimir Putin for being able to hit “any target on Earth.” Many arms experts believe it is the missile with the longest range in Russia’s missile arsenal. NATO authorities have nicknamed it the “Satan II” for its perceived power and its being allegedly the longest range missile on the planet.

The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service called the strike an “ugly and criminal step” by Israel
The head of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR), Sergey Naryshkin, has described Monday’s airstrike on the Iranian Consulate in the Syrian capital as a terrorist attack committed by the Israeli government.
Speaking to reporters after a meeting with his Belarusian counterparts on Tuesday, the spy chief condemned the strike, which reportedly killed several Iranian diplomats as well as seven officers of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), including two generals – Mohammad Reza Zahedi and Mohammad Hadi Haji Rahimi.

Let us hope for peace, but right now leaders all over the globe are being gripped by a really bad case of “war fever”. As I discussed last week, so many of them are openly using the term “World War III” to describe what is coming. Do they really understand what that would mean for humanity? We are so close to the unthinkable, and so you would think that global leaders would be scrambling to find a way out of this mess while it is still possible. But that isn’t happening. Instead, everyone is just becoming even more stubborn, and there has been one escalation after another. If we stay on this path, our world will soon see death and destruction on a massive scale.

During an interview with CNN, South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham declared that he’s in favor of Israel and the United States conducting military strikes against Iran’s oil infrastructure.
When he was asked if the two aforementioned countries should “bomb Iran even in the absence of direct evidence of their involvement” in the attack launched by the Palestinian militant organization Hamas against Israel, the South Carolina senator replied: “Yeah.”

Using duplicity, deception and secret alliances, the U.K.’s inner circle of top elites led by Nathaniel Rothschild, King Edward VII, and Lord Alfred Milner backed the German Kaiser into a corner and intentionally set the Germans up to blame them for starting the First World War, when in fact it was the British who provoked the Germans to the point where war was the only option.
German generals were caught strategizing several weeks ago on how to bomb Russia’s main bridge to Crimea. This would be an act of aggression that Russian President Vladimir Putin described as guaranteed to draw a harsh military response from Russia, possibly even including a nuclear strike against Berlin.

What is it going to take to wake people up? Russia is deploying tactical nuclear weapons to Belarus, and there is lots of talk in the Russian media about using such weapons to bring a quick end to the war in Ukraine. The theory is that once the Russians show that they are willing to use tactical nukes, the U.S. and the other western powers will back off. But that won’t be what happens. Instead of backing off, the Biden administration will respond by using U.S. tactical nuclear weapons against Russian targets in Ukraine. And once both sides have used tactical nukes, it is just a matter of time before the big nukes get used.

In a bold display of the bipartisan determination of the U.S. Congress after 9/11 to lock-in forever the bonanza that the Congress temporarily granted to America’s ‘Defense’ industries (manufacturers of war-weapons, etc.), the proposed congressional Resolution, on July 19th, “On the Amendment (Paul Amdt. No. 222 )”, aiming “To express the sense of Congress that Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty does not supersede the constitutional requirement that Congress declare war before the United States engages in war,” was voted down in the U.S. Senate, by the huge bipartisan margin of 83 Nays to 16 Yeas. All of the 16 Yeas were Republican Senators. However, 32 Republicans, and both of the Senate’s ‘Independent’ Senators (Sanders of Vermont, and King of Maine), also voted Nay — they voted that the U.S. Constitution’s clause which demands a congressional authorization before the U.S. President may send U.S. forces abroad into a war, be nullified if NATO declares war. (For example: if NATO declares war against Russia regarding Ukraine — which COULD happen — then America is automatically at war against Russia, and no congressional authorization is needed in order for the U.S. to immediately launch a nuclear invasion of Russia.)
