Slovakia will veto any attempt by Kiev to join the bloc, Prime Minister Robert Fico has promised
Bratislava will block Ukraine’s bid to join the US-led NATO alliance and will stand by a decision to stop supplying weaponry to the country, Prime Minister of Slovakia Robert Fico has said.
He made the remarks on Saturday ahead of his visit to meet his counterpart Denis Shmygal in the western Ukrainian city of Uzhgorod. Fico stressed that his trip serves solely “humanitarian” purposes and promised to openly communicate Bratislava’s stance to Kiev on different issues, including potential accession to the EU or NATO membership.

Using the broad anti-free speech provisions of the UK’s Terrorism Act, British police raided the home of journalist Asa Winstanley in what can be described as an act of state retaliation for his reporting of Israeli war crimes.
(Electronic Intifada) British counterterrorism police on Thursday raided the home and seized several electronic devices belonging to The Electronic Intifada’s associate editor Asa Winstanley.
Approximately 10 officers arrived at Winstanley’s North London home before 6 am and served the journalist with warrants and other papers authorizing them to search his house and vehicle for devices and documents.

Russia Claims it Shot Down Two UK-Supplied Storm Shadow Missiles, Condemns London for Escalation

The Russian military reportedly shot down two British-supplied Storm Shadow cruise missiles over the past 24 hours, as the Kremlin condemned the “Anglo-Saxon” support of Ukraine’s war effort.
Russia’s Ministry of Defence on Saturday claimed to have shot down two UK Storm Shadow cruise missiles fired by Ukrainian forces over the previous day.
Moscow also claimed that its air defence systems had also destroyed “12 drones of the Armed Forces of Ukraine” during the same time frame, Russian state-owned domestic news agency RIA reported.
Israel Shoots Down the First Missile in Space

Their Arrow missile-defense system has shot down a ballistic missile outside of Earth’s atmosphere, which is the first time warfare has taken place in space. This was an Iranian missile launched from Yemen by the Iran-backed Houthis, who have declared war on Israel. This missile traveled out of the Earth’s atmosphere in hopes of avoiding all radar, and this would be a surprise attack. This flew nearly 1000 miles (1600km) over the Arabian peninsula outside the atmosphere and would then turn down targeting the Israeli port city of Eilat.
