(Mises Institute) The debate over immigration is working out perfectly for the deep state. Donald Trump is calling on the CIA and the FBI to “get involved” in domestic policing. At the same time, MAGA conservatives are begging the US government to impose a vast new surveillance state on Americans in the name of stopping illegal aliens.
For at least four years, Russiagate hysteria has been used to promote more police statism, spying, military intervention, and government spending. Now, the incoming president Donald Trump will help the US regime seamlessly pivot from Russiagate hysteria to hysteria over Islamists and immigrants. The result will be the same: more growth in the federal police state and the further erosion of the Bill of Rights. This will be welcomed by MAGA conservatives who weeks earlier claimed to be suspicious of federal power and opponents of federal spy and police agencies.

The arrogance of western predators was on full display at the G7 summit in Hiroshima, beginning with the choice of that city as the site to reaffirm their commitment to permanent war! To counter their drive to possible nuclear war, Helga Zepp-LaRouche has issued a statement, commemorating a different America, as expressed in President John F. Kennedy’s address at American University on June 10, 1963, in which he called for peace not just for Americans, “but for all men and women”, and a peace “for all time.”

Since the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) developed standards for organic foods to be certified as “organic” by the USDA’s National Organic Program (NOP) in 2002, the quality of organic food sold in the U.S. has been rapidly declining, as the major food corporations that control most of the nation’s food supply have continually applied pressure to the USDA to lower those organic standards so that they could capitalize on consumer demand for “certified organic” food, while still mass producing their food the same way they produce conventional (non-organic) foods.

Human nature being human nature, there’s no foolproof system that stops government corruption.
In the last couple of weeks, we’ve learned that Somalis have been ripping off Uncle Sam to the tune of billions of dollars. Estimates range as high as $9 billion. Even with Sam sporting a $38 trillion debt, $9 billion isn’t chump change. The nation has a long history of government fraud and graft. Corruption at every level has been as routine as swiping votes, but those billions look like a Guinness World Records’ record, suffering fellow taxpayers.

A state official in swing state Michigan is calling on state residents to report their neighbors to the government if they share “misinformation.”
The agenda adopted by Jocelyn Benson, the secretary of state, was posted online, with the statement, “Misinformation about the election process, voter rights, or even an issue on the ballot is a serious threat to election security. If you see misleading or inaccurate information regarding voting or elections in Michigan, please report it.”

It could be Exhibit A for why people don’t trust government and the legacy media. Only, well, there are so many damning exhibits to choose from. The story?
We’ve heard much about “collusion,” such as the Trump/Russia-collusion hoax. But here’s a story of real collusion, from the people who gave us that hoax:
Years ago, CBS couldn’t find real-life negative impacts of a government “shutdown” that was taking place and which the Democrats were blaming on the Republicans. The solution?

AI was a top subject discussed this week at the 2026 World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland.
One of the most illuminating events regarding how world financial leaders view AI today was in a panel discussion hosted by CNBC that included Larry Fink, CEO of BlackRock, Ken Griffin, CEO of Citadel, Christine Lagarde, President of the European Central Bank, and renowned economist Adam Tooze of Columbia University.
The discussion started out by discussing historical parallels between the economic boom of the “roaring 20s” just after WW I, which then ended with the Great Depression in the 1930s, and what we are seeing today with the massive spending in AI which is propping up the world economy, for now.
