Two members of the Olympic team from the Republic of Congo have disappeared following the closing ceremony of the Paris Games, fueling speculation they may have decided to claim asylum somewhere in Europe.
It was initially believed three of the six Congolese athletes had gone missing after swimmer Aristote Impelenga, judoka Daso Kisoka, and sprinter Dominique Lasconi all failed to appear for the closing ceremonies. However, Kisoka later resurfaced just before the Congolese Olympic team’s flight back to their native country.

In an attempt to take control of the narrative, the Orwellian policies being enforced in the UK could affect anyone in the world. The Metropolitan Police Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley has threatened to extradite citizens from other countries to be jailed in the UK if the UK regime feels their posts online violate the two-tier regime’s online speech laws, even though those Rowley is threatening don’t violate their own country’s free speech laws. The World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) has announced it is shutting down the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) initiative, which organized advertising blacklists to censor conservatives, in response to an antitrust lawsuit filed by Elon Musk’s X/Twitter earlier this week.
Business Insider reports that in an email to members on Thursday, Stephan Loerke, the CEO of the WFA, revealed that the decision to halt GARM’s activities was “not made lightly,” citing the organization’s limited resources as a not-for-profit entity. The move comes just two days after X, formerly known as Twitter, filed an antitrust suit in a Texas court, alleging that GARM’s members illegally colluded to withhold billions of dollars in advertising revenue from the social media platform.

Today is a dark day for freedom in America.
The U.S. Supreme Court ruled 6-3 Wednesday in Murthy v. Missouri that challengers alleging the Biden regime colluded with social-media companies to remove content the government viewed as unfavorable did not have the legal right to sue. Therefore, the court did not rule on the merits of the case.
The High Court determined neither the Louisiana and Missouri attorneys general nor the five private individuals who brought the lawsuit had standing to seek an injunction against any of the government defendants.
