Axel Rudakubana, a 17-year-old male and the son of Rwandan nationals, murdered these young girls in cold blood. Protests immediately popped off the next day in Southport and spread across the UK.
France Extends Detention Of Telegram CEO Pavel Durov For “Questioning”

French judicial authorities have extended the detention of Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov following his surprise arrest at Paris’ Le Bourget airport airport on Saturday.
The list of charges include fraud, drug trafficking, organized crime, terrorism promotion and cyber-bullying on the popular encrypted messaging platform. “It is absurd to claim that a platform or its owner are responsible for abuse of that platform,” the company has said in a fresh statement.
The 39-year old Russian-born Durov, who also holds French and UAE citizenship, is being held for “questioning”. Le Monde is reporting Monday that his detention has been extended by the investigative magistrate.

Last night, the Democratic National Convention opened in Chicago, which will run through Thursday. Joe Biden was one of the speakers last night.
Generally speaking, the more significant the speaker, the later in the week they speak. But they trotted Biden, the sitting president, out there on the first night like an opening band at a rock concert.
On top of that, Biden’s speech was delayed by an hour, which pushed him out of prime time on the east coast.

Two members of the Olympic team from the Republic of Congo have disappeared following the closing ceremony of the Paris Games, fueling speculation they may have decided to claim asylum somewhere in Europe.
It was initially believed three of the six Congolese athletes had gone missing after swimmer Aristote Impelenga, judoka Daso Kisoka, and sprinter Dominique Lasconi all failed to appear for the closing ceremonies. However, Kisoka later resurfaced just before the Congolese Olympic team’s flight back to their native country.
