BREAKING: Another Leftist Judge Removes Trump From State Ballot

On Wednesday, Judge Tracie Porter of Cook County, Ill., issued an order stating that the State Board of Elections “shall remove Donald J. Trump from the ballot for the General Primary Election on March 19, 2024, or cause any votes cast for him to be suppressed.”

Last year, left-wing groups launched a nationwide effort to exclude Trump from primary ballots, citing Section 3 of the 14th Amendment. While most states have rejected these attempts, in December, the Colorado Supreme Court declared Trump ineligible. Maine’s Secretary of State eventually followed suit. Last month, the Illinois State Board of Elections ruled it lacked the authority to remove Trump from the ballot over alleged violations of the 14th Amendment. Judge Porter’s ruling unilaterally overturned their ruling.

They were defenders of the Constitution. They believed that the US government’s job was to protect citizens’ constitutional rights and to serve American interests rather than the interest of foreign governments. This last belief was compromised by conservatives’ opposition to the Soviet Union and support for wars, primarily the Vietnam War, that were seen as necessary to constrain Communist expansion.

New York Attorney General Letitia James is now questioning the financial status and regulatory compliance of the insurer that posted former President Donald Trump’s $175 million bond stemming from her civil fraud prosecution against him. In a court filing on Thursday, James challenged the “sufficiency of the surety” provided by Knight Specialty Insurance Company (KSIC) after a paperwork error resulted in Trump’s bond being temporarily rejected by a New York court the day before.

According to the filing, the New York Attorney General wants KSIC to provide documentation proving their certification to operate in the state. James is asking a state appeals court to order KSIC to produce a “certificate of qualification” within ten days with proof that the company can pay the bond if Trump’s appeals are unsuccessful.

Gov. Gavin Newsom said California seized 62,224 pounds of fentanyl last year, a 1,066 percent increase since 2021.

Authorities in California seized enough lethal doses of fentanyl last year to kill the entire global population “nearly twice over,” according to Gov. Gavin Newsom’s office.

In a statement on Feb. 27, the Democrat governor said operations supported by the state’s National Guard, or CalGuard, led to the seizure of a record 62,224 pounds of fentanyl in the state and at ports of entry in 2023, marking a 1,066 percent increase since 2021.
