While gold bullion is most often sold in bar or 1oz coin form, the Korean retail market is benefitting from gold’s latest success with a very atypical marketing strategy. It has been traditionally thought that investors prefer larger increments of bullion because they simplify calculations and have a lower transaction cost than buying the same amount of gold in smaller increments. Demand for traditional bars and coins in South Korea rose 27% year on year, but the most interesting development arises from South Korean vending machines and convenience stores.

Sting Operation Catches a Hollywood Elite Predator on Camera
A group of Youtubers led by media personality Vitaly Zdorovetskiy have uncovered what appears to be an attempt by a senior man to engage inappropriately with an underage girl.
The incident, captured on camera as part of a sting operation, has since been linked to Hollywood ‘Space Jam’ producer Herschel Weingrod due to a distinctive piece of jewelry worn by the man in question, Evie Magazine reported.

The mainstream media is ramping up the fear of bird flu. It’s saying that more avian influenza cases in humans are likely to occur. The “highly contagious” bird flu strain is infecting mammals all over the U.S., and it is probably only a matter of time before humans can transmit the virus to each other.
Yahoo Finance says that the reason there’s only been one human bird flu case that we know about (the dairy worker in Texas) is because the ruling class isn’t doing enough testing. There is extremely limited testing of people underway to detect it. State governments and farm owners have kept Centers for Disease Control and Prevention teams from conducting on-the-ground investigations that would offer a fuller picture of the prevalence of the virus in humans.

A global vaccine treaty being drafted by the World Health Organization (W.H.O) is to be rejected by Britain amid concerns it would have to give away a fifth of its jabs while ceding sovereignty to the unelected U.N. subsidiary.
The Daily Telegraph reported that according to a draft of the pandemic accord being negotiated at the W.H.O., richer countries should be asked to help world cope with pandemics, including giving over 20 percent of tests, treatments and vaccines for the W.H.O. to distribute in poorer countries during emergencies at its discretion.

(Electronic Frontier Foundation) Axon—the makers of widely-used police body cameras and tasers (and that also keeps trying to arm drones)—has a new product: AI that will write police reports for officers. Draft One is a generative large language model machine learning system that reportedly takes audio from body-worn cameras and converts it into a narrative police report that police can then edit and submit after an incident. Axon bills this product as the ultimate time-saver for police departments hoping to get officers out from behind their desks. But this technology could present new issues for those who encounter police, and especially those marginalized communities already subject to a disproportionate share of police interactions in the United States.

Arthur Engoron, the New York judge who found there was “fraud” by President Trump and his companies in a case where no one lost money and the “victims” wanted to do more business with him, now reportedly is under investigation.
For possibly getting advice from a lawyer just before announcing a draconian $454 million fine against Trump.
The Gateway Pundit reports that real estate attorney Adam Leitman Bailey had a discussion with the judge and recommended the judge get the decision “right.”

When Presidentish Joe Biden took office — and I do mean “took” — more than three years ago, every reader here knew we were in for bad times.
It used to be when we lost an election, we had to suffer through four or (Lord help us) eight years of bad policy — inflation, overspending, overregulation, and maybe a small war or two. Now, we get four years or (seriously, Lord, we could use some help here) eight years of chipping away at the foundations of the Republic.

American rapper Macklemore has released a single titled “Hind’s Hall”, the name given to Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall by anti-genocide protesters in honor of the six year-old Hind Rajab who was murdered in Gaza by Israeli forces. The artist says all proceeds from the track will go to UNRWA.
The song with its accompanying video is such a scathing indictment of the US-backed destruction of Gaza that Google-owned YouTube promptly age-restricted it. Macklemore attacks Biden, the brutal police crackdowns on protesters, the conflation of anti-Zionism with anti-semitism, US politicians and the Israel lobby, with lines that will haunt you for days like “The Nakba never ended, the colonizer lied.”
