False Flag Warning? Trump Says “Russia, Syria, and Iran are killing, or on their way to killing” THOUSANDS OF INNOCENT CIVILIANS In Syria

from Silver Doctors:

False flag warning or false flag hoax warning?

Update 1: As expected, the original Tweet (screenshot below, boxed in red) has been deleted, with this one put in its place:

(Silver Doctors Editors) President Trump just came out with a weird Tweet.

In part, because of the typos:

Syria, Oil, and the Exceptional, Indispensable Kleptocrats

by Kurt Nimmo, Another Day in the Empire:

Most of what Donald Trump says and tweets can be ignored. His advisers and cabinet will make all final decisions regardless of what the stable genius says he will do—for instance, leaving Syria.

The US military isn’t going anywhere despite Trump declaring he will bring the troops home. The troops aren’t going anywhere so long as Bashar al-Assad remains in power.

Tump now says he wants to steal Syria’s minuscule reservoir of oil and give it to the Kurds, possibly as a consolation prize for abandoning them to Erdogan and Turkey.

Panel Criticizes ‘Unacceptable Practices’ in OPCW Investigation of Alleged Chemical Attack in Douma, Syria

from 21st Century Wire:

The Courage Foundation convened a panel of concerned individuals from the fields of disarmament, international law, journalism, military operations, medicine and intelligence in Brussels on October 15th. The panel met with a member of the investigation team from the Organisation for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (OPCW), the international chemical watchdog. On this basis the panel issued the following statement:

Based on the whistleblower’s extensive presentation, including internal emails, text exchanges and suppressed draft reports, we are unanimous in expressing our alarm over unacceptable practices in the investigation of the alleged chemical attack in Douma, near the Syrian capital of Damascus on 7 April 2018.  We became convinced by the testimony that key information about chemical analyses, toxicology consultations, ballistics studies, and witness testimonies was suppressed, ostensibly to favor a preordained conclusion.

Syria, Iran Agree to Ditch Dollar in Bilateral Transactions

from Sputnik News:

Iran sealed economic and trade deals with Syria on Monday, as Damascus is looking to its allies to help with the reconstruction effort after its eight-year-long war.

Iran and Syria have agreed on measures that will allow bank transactions in their local currencies and non-dollar foreign currencies as the two countries have decided to deepen trade and investment relations.

Momentous Week Ahead; September 11, 2001, Syria, and the Defining Midterm Elections

by Harley Schlanger, LaRouche PAC:

Last week the nation observed September 11, 2001 as a Memorial. Yet, this week, we stand still on the edge of a conflict in Syria in which British imperialists have intervened once again to change our country’s historical honor into something unrecognizable, while creating a living hell for the inhabitants of Southwest Asia. They seek to trap President Donald Trump into a war to protect terrorists who fight under the banner of Al Qaeda but whom our delusional elites now call “freedom fighters.” The same people who have launched a coup against this President now seek to bend him to their murderous geopolitical strategies.

US Empire Is Running The Same Script With Iran That It Ran With Libya, Syria

by Caitlin Johnstone, Mint Press News:

Two weeks ago a memo was leaked from inside the Trump administration showing how Secretary of State and DC neophyte Rex Tillerson was coached on how the US empire uses human rights as a pretense on which to attack and undermine noncompliant governments. Politico reports:

The May 17 memo reads like a crash course for a businessman-turned-diplomat, and its conclusion offers a starkly realist vision: that the US should use human rights as a club against its adversaries, like Iran, China and North Korea, while giving a pass to repressive allies like the Philippines, Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

‘Allies should be treated differently — and better — than adversaries. Otherwise, we end up with more adversaries, and fewer allies,’ argued the memo, written by Tillerson’s influential policy aide, Brian Hook.

Syria, Iran and ‘Chaos in International Relations’

by Pepe Escobar, Russia Insider:

Even in the context of a post-truth geopolitical environment run amok, Russian President Vladimir Putin telling his Iranian counterpart Hassan Rouhani over the phone that any further Western strikes against Syria may “lead to chaos in international relations” should at least be seen for what it is; a massive understatement.

According to the Kremlin, Putin and Rouhani agreed that what cynics are calling the F.U.K.U.S. – or France, UK, US – strikes have damaged the chances of achieving any meaningful political resolution in Syria.
