Biden vs. Trump: When we see the tactic of Projection, we know we are dealing with the enemy

“When Ahab saw Elijah, Ahab said to him, ‘Is it you, you troubler of Israel?’” (1Kings 18:17)

Anyone who has studied abnormal (evil) psychological aberrations such as narcissism, sociopathy, or psychopathy will have encountered the subject of projection. A tactic, really. Projection, literally, is to cast something, an image, for example, onto an object separate from the projector. Think, for instance, of that old movie projector you saw in your classroom in the old days. It projected an image onto a screen. It took what was in itself and cast it onto something else. Projected.

TRUTH LIVES on at https://sgtreport.tv/

Wicked people (and sometimes, we must confess, we ourselves) project their own thoughts, motives, and actions upon another person. That is to say, by projection, they attribute by way of accusation the very evils they themselves are guilty of. Projection does not normally project a good or noble quality because its purpose is to accuse, demean, and shame the “screen” upon which it casts its own image.

I am writing about this wicked tactic because it is vital that we all become wise to it or we will become its victim. We will be duped by some demagogue when they lay their evils upon someone else. Whenever a person is projecting, the very quality they are projecting upon another person is the thing they themselves are guilty of.

None of us enjoy being wrong or guilty of some fault. But, normally, we eventually face up to it. Initially, we might do a bit of this projecting ourselves. Even children can become rather skillful at this business, pushing the blame for their own actions upon their siblings. A large part of raising children properly is to discipline them to accept responsibility for their own actions. We’ve all seen that spoiled brat child grow up, undisciplined, into an adult brat who is never, ever at fault. It is an ugly picture.

But these narcissist types (I like to use the acronym RASN – revilers, abusers, sociopaths, narcissists) – these RASNs are not just guilty of occasional blame-shifting for which they eventually repent. No, this projection business is habitual and characteristic of them. It is their bread and butter to accuse, to blame, to slander, and libel the target whom they intend to destroy.

Now, let’s get down to projection and how we are seeing it practiced in our own nation today. It is not difficult to think of contemporary examples. The Russia hoax. Supposed “collusion.” “He is a threat to democracy.” “He is a racist.” And yet all of these evil images being projected onto another are the very things the accusers are guilty of themselves.

This is why being wise to projection as a tactic is so important. We can put it in the form of a principle: “When a RASN is accusing someone of some crime or evil motive, we can be sure that the RASN is in fact the real culprit, guilty of the very evil he or she is projecting onto someone else.” Because RASNs are really not that smart. They are not original in their thinking. They copy and paste their own evil. We have many such people in high offices in our nation right now who, essentially, every time their lips are moving, are projecting their own evil deeds onto someone whom they want to destroy.

Think of “election interference,” for instance. President Trump is being accused of this every single day by the Joe Biden crowd, bent on destroying any threat to their power and control. What do they do? The greatest practitioners of election interference (which is what is happening right now through the weaponization of the courts) are screaming that President Trump is guilty of election interference.

Or, take another example. These enemies of our nation are constantly telling us that if Donald Trump is elected President this November, democracy will be destroyed. He will, they claim, be a dictator. But if we are wise about this tactic of projection, we can know with certainty that the real threats to democracy, the real interferers in elections, are that far-left crowd who are making the charges themselves. Given the opportunity, they will become the real tyrannical tyrants.

At the beginning of this article, I quoted an example of projection found in the Old Testament. Wicked King Ahab was the real “troubler of Israel.” Through his sins, he was the one responsible for the serious troubles in the nation. And yet, what does he do when he meets the prophet Elijah? He projects. He accuses Elijah of being the one who is the troubler of Israel. Elijah is wise to this game, and he throws it right back at Ahab –

“And he answered, ‘I have not troubled Israel, but you have, and your father’s house, because you have abandoned the commandments of the LORD and followed the Baals.’” (1Kings 18:18)

The enemies of our nation – domestic enemies in particular – rely upon the naivete of the people. They believe we are fools. They believe that if they can repeat their lies, if they can project their own wickedness onto others often enough, that eventually we will believe them. Hillary Clinton really does believe that we are the “deplorables.”
