I thought I would begin this week’s blogs with an unusual departure from my normal routine of blogging about one or two specific articles that people have sent, but rather to blog about a whole slew of articles about the recent Maui fires. My aim here is not to be comprehensive, because there are – as one might expect – a flood of articles, comments, videos, tweets and programs about them. Comprehensiveness is all but impossible on any issue in the age of the internet. Nonetheless, I think a :round up” of many articles and approaches would be helpful, before I throw in my usual high octane speculation about what it might all mean.
