Media sensationalism about record-breaking temperatures has recently exploded with claims that July 4th was the hottest on record, and, of course, this was supposedly caused by human-induced climate change. Even a cursory glance at the history of the Earth’s climate, however, tells us that what we are experiencing now is not unusual. Indeed, we are living in a very cold time in Earth’s history, and the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is at one of the lowest levels it has ever been.
TRUTH LIVES on at https://sgtreport.tv/
Guest host Mary-Jean Harris interviews scientist Dr. Patrick Moore on the history of Earth’s climate and the real link between temperature and carbon dioxide.
Dr. Patrick Moore has been a leader in the international environmental field for over 30 years. With a Ph.D. in Ecology from the University of British Columbia, Dr. Moore is a founding member of Greenpeace and served for nine years as President of Greenpeace Canada and seven years as a Director of Greenpeace International. Dr. Moore left Greenpeace when he realized that they had been taken over by extreme leftists more interested in imposing a Marxist ideology on the West than in protecting the environment. In contrast to today’s Greenpeace, Dr. Moore is a practical environmentalist, bringing real science and common sense to the energy and environment debate.
Join Mary-Jean Harris and Dr. Patrick Moore on this week’s episode of The Other Side of the Story as they delve into the fascinating history of the Earth’s climate and why what we’re seeing now is by no means unprecedented. We also see how it may be that humanity’s emissions of carbon dioxide could have been crucial in keeping plants, and hence all life, flourishing on Earth.
