Today’s blog is unusual in that I am blogging about two distinct stories which, taken alone, might not indicate much. Indeed, as will be seen, one of those stories is one of those “I heard it from a friend, who heard it from another” that something happened, to paraphrase the REO Speedwagon lyrics. ON it’s own it may be complete gossip and fabrication, but in the wider context, maybe not so much.
