A Historic Announcement Was Made Just Before The Great American Eclipse Of 2024 Passed Over America

I didn’t expect to be writing about abortion on April 8th, but life is full of surprises.  To me, abortion is not just another political issue.  Since Roe v. Wade was decided in 1973, more than 60 million babies have been aborted in America.  There was hope that once Roe v. Wade was overturned that the number of abortions in America would go down, but instead the number of abortions actually went up.  In fact, in 2023 there were a million abortions in the United States for the first time in more than a decade.  If we continue to kill children on an industrial scale, there is no future for America.  The only hope for our country is to end abortion, and the only way to end abortion on a nationwide basis is to institute a nationwide law.

Unfortunately, that is not going to happen.

The Democrats are rabidly against any sort of a federal law that would restrict abortion in any way, shape or form.

Donald Trump had been considering support for a federal law that would ban abortion after 15 weeks.  94 percent of all abortions occur within the first 15 weeks, and so such a law would have actually legalized almost all of the abortions that already happen.

But now Trump has decided not to support any federal limits on abortion at all.

On Monday, just before the Great American Eclipse of 2024 passed over America, Trump unveiled his position on “abortion and abortion rights” for the 2024 campaign…

Former President Donald Trump said Monday he believes abortion limits should be left to the states, outlining his position in a video in which he declined to endorse a national ban after months of mixed messages and speculation.

“Many people have asked me what my position is on abortion and abortion rights,” Trump said in the video posted on his Truth Social site. “My view is now that we have abortion where everybody wanted it from a legal standpoint, the states will determine by vote or legislation or perhaps both. And whatever they decide must be the law of the land — in this case, the law of the state.”

According to Trump, his decision is “all about the will of the people”

Many states will be different. Many will have a different number of weeks, or some will have more conservative than others, and that’s what they will be. At the end of the day, this is all about the will of the people. You must follow your heart, or in many cases, your religion or your faith. Do what’s right for your family and do what’s right for yourself. Do what’s right for your children. Do what’s right for our country and vote.

What this means is that there will be no end to abortion in America.

Somewhere around a million kids will be killed every single year, and our politicians in Washington aren’t going to do anything to stop it.

Needless to say, pro-life groups all over America were extremely disappointed by Trump’s decision.  Here is just one example

Marjorie Dannenfelser, president of the pro-life group Susan B. Anthony Pro-Life America (SBA), said she was ‘deeply disappointed’ by the announcement because it ‘cedes the national debate to the Democrats.’

‘We are deeply disappointed in President Trump’s position,’ Dannenfelser said in a statement.

‘Unborn children and their mothers deserve national protections and national advocacy from the brutality of the abortion industry.’

But no matter how much pro-life groups may object, Trump knows that the vast majority of “pro-life Christians” will vote for him in November no matter what his position on abortion is.

What Trump is concerned about is how the rest of the country will vote.

Trump has seen the issue of abortion hurt Republicans time after time, and that is why he is making this move.

And Sean Hannity is urging Republicans to support Trump on this

Sean Hannity joined fellow Fox News host Lawrence Jones on Monday’s Fox & Friends to discuss Trump’s positions, and Hannity told conservatives to follow Trump’s lead or pay at the ballot box.

“Democrats are going to demagogue the issue of abortion,” he said.

Hannity theorized the majority of the country likely supports abortion as late as 15 weeks and said a no exception policy or support of a total ban will be a determining factor for many voters. The Fox News host argued Republicans lost on the issue in numerous elections in 2022.

“Any Republican that would ever take a position, and the president was clear in his statement about this too, any Republican that would take a position [of] no exceptions for rape, incest, or the mother’s life, that is political suicide,” Hannity said.

There is just one huge problem.

If we don’t end abortion, there won’t be a country.

The only hope we had was to stop killing children on an industrial scale.

And now there is zero chance that will happen.

Perhaps it is fitting that the final nail in our coffin came on the exact day that the Great American Eclipse of 2024 passed over America.

As the day of the eclipse approached, many spiritual leaders warned that this eclipse could be a sign of impending judgment for our nation.  For example, the following is an excerpt from a piece that was authored by Anne Graham Lotz
