We have long suffered under the impression that government-imposed affirmative action schemes would work to raise the educational levels of inner-city youths held down by poverty in violent urban environments from which they had little hope of escaping. Instead of elevating the prospects for educated minority youths, we have instead adjusted educational standards to a new lower level of mediocrity. Now, in slow motion, we are watching the disintegration of what was once the reputation of prestigious universities, which, for many graduates, almost guaranteed immediate employment at six-figure salaries.

Government Affirmative Action schemes saw to it that the seats of potential scholars were filled with minorities and women. Why, then, hasn’t our minority class reaped the benefits from said education except on the football field and basketball court? Watching the dismal rates of failure of the minority class, Progressives, refusing to acknowledge the weakness of their schemes, simply lowered the bar on scholarship, awarded degrees to all who could make it up the steps to the graduation platform, and then set about forcing their employment, under threats of “racism,” into mainstream America. If these people weren’t employed even at supervisory levels, then clearly systemic racism was the reason. Nothing’s changed, has it?
Our once lauded system of higher education, both state and private, except Hillsdale, has been beaten into submission to pass on to society graduates who scored barely above the mediocrity level. They are now military officers, mayors, police and fire chiefs, judges, and district attorneys, as well as filling boards of city and county commissions everywhere, guaranteeing America’s proud place as a third-world nation.
Women not filling roles as mons and homemakers were also included in the class of victims oppressed by the White European male system then in place. To avoid the unpleasantness of being labeled racist, college admissions were filled with incompetents simply on the basis of race over better-qualified White male applicants. Then came the three stooges to prove it each, a president of three of those prestigious institutions, Harvard, UPenn, and MIT, who in their slavish arrogance of untouchable elitism threw open the door exposing the fraud of the existence, the failed social theories of Marxism revealing their own mediocrity. Because of the Islamic assault against Israel on 07 October 2023, Antisemitism suddenly became the education policy du jour in all those once prestigious institutions, but plagiarism didn’t.
Americans were shocked by what they heard those three educated fools say publicly, and more so to learn that higher education was filled with foreign Islamic terrorists as the swirling mobs of pro-Palestinian street protesters demanding an end to Israel revealed. Biden has allowed America to be invaded by Islam, Chinese soldiers, drugs, sex slaves, uneducated and disease ridden-peasants, and he expects us to pay for them. Is there an answer to continuing Progressive failures that won’t collapse under the withering rebuke of today’s corrupt media defending the indefensible?
We know the source of this social turmoil that has brought us to the edge of civil war, and we’re there now! It’s government, always meddling where they’re not wanted, taking sides for government-imposed socialism and the welfare state and against commercial capitalism that gives everyone a chance to succeed. Biden’s government has ignored Ronald Reagan’s indisputable truth, “trust but verify.” Well, we’ve trusted against our will and to our regret and now see clearly that the verification process is not turning out well for continuing inoperable social policies of exchanging quality for mediocrity that comes with Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the new meme for the old affirmative action.
Joe Biden is even wasting our tax dollars not only to feed, house, educate, and provide medical care to the millions of immigrants here illegally, but he’s paying for their college educations as well. Indeed, the collapse will come with a nudge of lost revenue because alumni will cease feeding the beast, enrollments will drop, and the mediocre Deans, Presidents, and administrative staff will be forced to seek employment elsewhere.
