Political consultant and first brother James “Jim” Biden has officially confirmed that his nephew Hunter Biden met with Patrick Ho, who the presidential son dubbed the “spy chief of China,” in 2017.

He confirmed the September 2017 meeting during his testimony before Congress in February. According to Jim, he accompanied his nephew in Hong Kong to have a meeting with Ho, an executive with energy firm CEFC China Energy. Weeks earlier, the company paid both Hunter and Jim $5 million as part of a joint enterprise to identify investments for the Chinese company.
