BIRMINGHAM, Alabama – Long-time Democratic political consultant James Carville says some wild things in American politics could be coming over the next two years.
During a talk, part of Alabama-based PARCA’s Speaker Series, held at the Red Mountain Theatre in Birmingham, Carville said he did not expect former President Donald Trump nor President Joe Biden to be on the 2024 presidential election ballot.

United Nations World Food Program Executive Director David Beasley is saying the perfect storm has arrived. “A perfect storm on top of a perfect storm,” Beasley recently said, has reached our doorstep.
Beasley is urging people to donate to the UN, particularly Gulf nations and billionaires, asking them to give a few days of profits to tackle a crisis with the fertilizer supply right now and prevent widespread food shortages next year. “Otherwise, there’s gonna be chaos all over the world,” World Food Program Executive Director David Beasley said in an Associated Press interview.

The Arizona Department of Education (ADE) was put on notice this month that they are being sued for directing children — via the state ADE website — to chat rooms in which they can discuss sex, gender, and anything else — without their parents knowing.
The lawsuit, spearheaded by parent Peggy McClain, specifically names Kathy Hoffman, Arizona’s Superintendent of Public Instruction, who made the decision to direct children to the Q Chat website, using the taxpayer-funded ADE website.

For many years, frustrated colleagues of mine who are either conservative or libertarian have posed the rhetorical question, “When will those liberals learn?” Surely, at some point (they reason), liberals will recognise that bailouts, entitlements, and a “planned” society simply do not work. It’s not even a question of whether liberalism is a laudable concept. The problem is that it just… doesn’t… work.
