Still won’t admit the border is not secure
Appearing on NBC’s Meet The Press, Department Of Homeland Security head Alejandro Mayorkas refused to take responsibility for what is happening on the Southern border, declaring that “Congress is the only one who can fix it.”
Reporter Bill Melugin noted that it is the first time Mayorkas has admitted there is a ‘crisis’, and that there has been a “shift in language,” as the DHS Secretary complained of a “broken system.”

Notable: Mayorkas says here that what’s happening at the border “certainly is a crisis”.

He also claimed that “We certainly haven’t done nothing.”
