Grocery rationing begins in UK as a means of ‘normalizing’ coming shortages ahead of collapse

    0

    by JD Heyes, Natural News:

The demise of the West, planned by our globalist leaders as a means of further empowering themselves as kings and queens, is continuing apace amid a new war in Europe and now, rationing of vegetables in the United Kingdom.

“The past few days have seen certain fruits and vegetables ‘rationed’ by major UK supermarkets,” writes Kit Knightly at Off Guardian this week, going on to list several grocery store chains where the rationing was occurring.

If You Missed: The Collapse of the Soviet Union, Come to the UK 4-The Remake

by Seth Ferris, New Eastern Outlook:

Few nowadays remember how the fall of the Eastern Bloc actually played out in real time. In the West, the perception was that the system was so tightly controlled that it was impregnable. As long as Westerners heard the old slogans, it convinced them Communism was alive and well, and as evil as ever, as they saw it.

In the actual Communist countries the perception was different. No matter how all-pervasive The Party was, the more people heard the slogans the less they believed in them. Even active Communists didn’t believe much of what they were saying, and knew it was all about gaining and keeping power rather than helping the people, who they were not in the same universe as, let alone on the same planet.

The UK is “rationing” vegetables…& it’s all about normalization

        by Kit Knightly, Off Guardian:

The past few days have seen certain fruits and vegetables “rationed” by major UK supermarkets. Aldi, Morrisons, Tesco and Sainsbury’s have all put limits on customer purchases of peppers, tomatoes and cucumbers.

Just yesterday, Lidl added their own name to that list.

Many – including Justin King, former Sainsbury’s CEO – have jumped at the chance to lay the blame at Brexit’s feet.

Europe is Experiencing a MASSIVE New Migrant Crisis Which No One Seems to be Acknowledging.

by Natalie Winters, The National Pulse:

In 2022 around 330,000 people crossed into Europe illegally, according to Frontex, the European Union’s border agency – the largest number since the Migrant Crisis of 2015-16 and a 64 percent increase on 2021. The figures do not include the 13 million refugees who fled Ukraine and entered the EU due to the conflict with Russia, ten million of whom have subsequently returned home.

GOAT Predictions for 2023 – Losing My Religion

Consider this, Consider this the hint of the century
Consider this, the slip, that dropped me to my knees, failed.
What if all these fantasies come flailing around?
And now, I’ve said…. too much
            — R.E.M. – Losing My Religion

I probably should have codified these before the turn of the new year but I didn’t even think of doing one of these lists until someone mentioned it on Twitter a few days ago.

            So, here it goes.

Great Reset: UK Prepares to Introduce a ‘Digital Pound’ Central Bank Digital Currency

              0

              by Kurt Zindulka, Breitbart:

The de facto head of His Majesty’s Treasury announced this week that the Bank of England has begun consultations on implementing a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) that could usher in the globalist vision of a cashless society in which all transactions are traceable by the government.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Jeremy Hunt revealed that, as a part of his ‘Edinburgh Reforms’ of Britain’s financial services, the Bank of England will begin consultations on the design of a Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) which would act as a digital version of the pound sterling.

Word “Globalist” Struck From Newspeak Dictionary

                from Moonbattery:

According to postmodern philosophy, objective reality is either nonexistent or irrelevant; all that matters is the artificial world we create with words. Consequently, leftists believe that ultimate power can be achieved through control of language. This is why updates to the Newspeak Dictionary come fast and furious. It is why you can tell that you have found a soft spot in leftist defenses when they react to certain words as if you had poked a raw nerve. Use the word “depravity” in a discussion with liberals about the LGBT agenda and you may see fireworks. The word “globalist” so betrays their agenda that they have resorted to playing the anti-Semitism card:

New UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak A Triumph for Globalists, Immigration Enthusiasts. of Course, UK May Not Survive—But, Like US, Ruling Class Hates It Anyway

                  0

by James Kirkpatrick, The Unz Review:

The Conservative (“Tory”) Party has been in power in the United Kingdom for 12 years, with a long line of forgettable Prime Ministers surfing over restive voters who demanded Brexit, reduced immigration, and more national sovereignty [How long have the Conservatives been in power and who were the Prime Ministersby Caroline Westbrook, Metro, October 20, 2022]. But in what can only be considered pure spite on the part of the British Ruling Class, the UK will now be governed by a caricature of Politically Correct “Conservatism”—an Indian hedge fund manager, Rishi Sunak, who used to work at Goldman Sachs and is worth more than King Charles III [Rishi Sunak, the new UK prime minister, is yet another Goldman Sachs alumnus, Business Insider, October 24, 2022].

                  Free markets’ last stand

                    by Alasdair Macleod, GoldMoney:

The British government’s desperate dash towards free markets has failed, badly bungled. The establishment in Whitehall and Westminster is back and realigned with the international government consensus. The socialist wealth redistributors, the interventionists, and the anti-Brexit Remainers now formulate government policy. In Britain, free markets are dead.

Citizens of other western nations should take note of these developments. The replacement of Kwasi Kwarteng as Chancellor of the Exchequer by Jeremy Hunt, an establishment man and deemed to be a safe pair of hands, is set to guarantee the continuing authority of the state over its electors. The underlying problem, that the electorate can no longer afford its government, is lost in the noise.

Interview with Godfrey Bloom: Part I of II

A lot has been said and written about Britain’s political and economic woes since Brexit, and even more so over the last two years. Overwhelmingly, mainstream media coverage has been negative and many of the nation’s problems have been blamed on Brexit itself. The role of the lockdowns, the forced business closures and especially of the extreme fiscal and monetary interventions during the Covid crisis has been downplayed, or often gone entirely unmentioned.

Protests Erupt Across the United Kingdom as Energy Costs Soar

On October 1, 2022, the United Kingdom was marked by enormous protests organized by labor unions and environmental activists. According to a Press TV report, these rallies, titled “Enough is Enough”, protested the country’s rising cost of living and inflation throughout the UK’s most prominent cities.

Inflation in the UK is at a 40-year high.

The Attack on the Pipeline and the Resurrection of the Morgenthau Plan as the Long Arm of Jewish Vengeance

Within hours of the attack on the September attack on the Nordstream pipelines, a consensus emerged that the Americans did it, in spite of the fact that the mainstream media were united in blaming Russia. Only the Americans had the motive and the means. The evidence was circumstantial but irrefutable. Within hours of the attack on Nordstream, the video of President Biden’s February 2022 press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz was making the rounds on the internet. In response to a question from a reporter in February, Biden said in no uncertain terms that if Russia invaded the Ukraine, America would take out the Nordstream pipelines. The video of Victoria Nuland saying the same thing also started circulating within hours of the attack.

Markets were roiled Monday, with another epic surge in bond yields. “Stocks and bonds have worst half in history” was the Bloomberg headline; as our own Christian Lawrence points out, it was the worst 60/40 portfolio return in 90 years, and the second worst in 122 years. Ouch! Then we saw a massive bear steepening of the US curve on the day, with 2-year yields +14bp to 4.34% and 10-year yields +24bp to 3.92%, the highest since 2010. Ouch again!
