They ‘should be considered as co-conspirators’

A new court filing from Special Counsel John Durham, who was appointed to investigate the false “Russia collusion” claims made by Democrats in 2016 about President Trump, has what a report calls “smoking gun evidence” on what apparently was a “conspiracy” to damage the president.

The scenario was outlined in a report by John Solomon at Just the News.

The “bombshell report” filed in court has Durham suggesting for the first time that Hillary Clinton’s campaign, her researchers and others worked on a “joint venture or conspiracy” specifically in order to weave the collusion story to “harm Trump’s election chances,” Solomon reported.

“These parties acted as ‘joint venturer[s]’ and therefore should be ‘considered as co-conspirator[s],'” he charged.

Durham was putting the courts on notice he is ready to show the effort to “smear” Trump with the now-debunked Russia collusion claims was a “conspiracy.”

Included in the filing was a reference to a text message from Hillary Clinton campaign lawyer Michael Sussman, falsely telling the FBI he was not working on behalf of any client when he tried to persuade the agency to believe lies about Trump in the run-up to the 2016 vote.

In fact, the evidence shows, he was working for Clinton and another client.

“Prosecutors said they intend to show Sussmann gave a false story to the FBI but then told the truth about working on behalf of the Clinton campaign when he later testified to Congress,” the report charged.

Specifically, Sussman wrote to James Baker, of the FBI, “Jim – it’s Michael Sussmann. I have something time-sensitive (and sensitive) I need to discuss. Do you have availability for a short meeting tomorrow? I’m coming on my own – not on behalf of a client or company – want to help the Bureau. Thanks.”
