Last month, three scientists pointed out flu shots barely work and couldn’t be approved based on the standards used for vaccines like measles:
“After more than 60 years of experience with influenza vaccines, very little improvement in vaccine prevention of infection has been noted… our best approved influenza vaccines would be inadequate for licensure for most other vaccine-preventable diseases.” [emphasis added]

NYMag issued a report claiming that Veritas executive director Daniel Strack stated that O’Keefe would be taking “a few weeks of well-deserved PTO.” The report added that the board would be considering removing O’Keefe on Friday. They also detailed alleged problems O’Keefe had been having with top staffers, including the organization’s former CFO, Tom O’Hara, and its former chief strategy officer, Barry Hinckley.

The Wall Street Journal reports that during a Wednesday earnings call, CEO Bob Iger announced that the company would be trimming its ranks by 7,000 employees and cutting costs to the tune of $5.5 billion. Iger said, “It’s time for another transformation.” That transformation will not just cut expenses, but “reshape the company around creativity” and generate profits for its streaming business. Creative executives will have more power when it comes to content, marketing, and distribution, but will also be held accountable for their financials. Iger said, ““The best way to spur great creativity is to make sure the people managing creative activities feel empowered.”
