People are mad and threatening to boycott Hershey’s Chocolate after the brand featured a transgender woman in the ‘HerShe’ ad campaign for International Woman’s Day 2023.
First of all, I cannot participate in what I hope will be a massive boycott of chocolate maker Hershey’s because they make pretty bad chocolate compared to companies like Ghirardelli Chocolate, which is my favorite, so you won’t ever find me with a Hershey’s Bar. But now that Hershey’s is promoting transgender women with their new ‘HerShe’ Bar ad campaign, which is to say men who have been mutilated, I think I will go eat a few Hershey’s bars just so I can boycott them.

At the beginning of last week, a Swiss pressure group with libertarian leanings called the Swiss Freedom Movement (FBS) announced it had collected enough signatures (111,000) to trigger a national vote on preserving cash for posterity. If passed, the initiative would require the federal government to ensure that coins and banknotes are always available in sufficient quantities. What’s more, any attempt to replace the Swiss Franc with another currency — quite possibly a reference to a central bank digital currency — would also have to be put to popular vote.

Russia will not allow Western countries to blow up any more gas pipelines, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Friday.
Moscow will rely on dependable partners such as China and India in its energy policy, he added, speaking at the Raisina Dialogue forum in New Delhi.

Journalist and author Matt Taibbi noted the U.S. government’s role in creating a “new cottage industry” of “disinformation labs” ostensibly combatting fraudulent online propaganda in the interest of national security in his latest Twitter Files report published Thursday.
The “Twitter Files #17” thread focuses on the Global Engagement Center (GEC), a subsidiary of the State Department, and its claimed objective to “recognize, understand, expose, and counter foreign state and non-state propaganda and disinformation efforts aimed at undermining or influencing the policies, security, or stability of the United States, its allies, and partner nations.”

The endgame for the ruling class is getting closure. The masters continue to “explore” a central bank digital currency (CBDC) in order to make sure the slave class stays as such.
Under Secretary of Treasury, Nellie Liang said in a speech Wednesday that a consortium of government agencies will meet regularly in the coming months to discuss whether to adopt a central bank digital currency or CBDC. The United States is currently studying options for adopting a retail or wholesale CBDC.

This article is about why interest rates and bond yields are rising and why they will continue to rise, threatening to undermine the entire western banking system.
Rising bond yields are deferring the prospect of a central bank pivot away from fighting inflation to tackling a widely expected recession. Anyway, these expectations wrongly assume that price inflation will fall in a recession, leading to lower interest rates.
History tells us that monetary debasement, rising prices and a slump in business activity go together. Indeed, a slump in economic activity is almost certain, but interest rates will continue to rise reflecting declining purchasing powers for fiat currencies. There is nothing the monetary authorities can do to prevent it, and consequently a cyclical banking crisis, this time including both central and commercial banking systems, is bound to result.

Things weren’t always this horrible. Once upon a time, America’s shiny new cities were the envy of the entire world. Our citizens dressed sharply, they treated one another with respect, and they worked incredibly hard. But now our country is teeming with extremely slothful degenerates that want everything handed to them on a silver platter. Rampant greed is everywhere that you look, crime is completely out of control, we are facing the worst drug crisis in the entire history of our nation, millions of our fellow citizens are absolutely seething with hatred for one another, and those that attempt to stand up for what is right are considered to be the problem. We should be deeply grieved by what has happened to our society, because it truly is a great tragedy.
