The ugly truth about health care in America is that being sick is big business. Hospitals, pharmaceutical companies and doctors all profit when a person is ill, and this has led to horrific problems like people being given unnecessary surgeries, doctors prescribing harmful and ineffective medications, and the chemotherapy racket. As more and more people wise up to the fact that the system is basically designed to reward illness, the question of how this situation can be improved inevitably arises.
What if doctors got paid to keep patients healthy instead of keeping them sick? Vermont is hoping to find out as it experiments with a new health care model that would offer hospitals and doctors financial incentives when their patients are healthy rather than only when they come in sick. Should the experiment prove to be successful, they’d like to apply it to 70 percent of their residents by the year 2022, and it could cause a sea change in the way Americans pay for their health care.
Instead of paying for each X-ray or operation, lump sum payments will be made to keep people healthy. One aspect of this is focusing on diagnosing the problems that affect a person’s well-being, such as food, housing, and transportation.
This year, OneCare Vermont, an accountable care organization, has transitioned 30,000 Medicaid patients into their experimental model. Their system’s software can identify people who have chronic health conditions and other complex medical needs so that care and support can be coordinated for them. Rather than billing for medical scans and overnight stays, the hospitals are getting upfront monthly payments for managing the care of the patients they are assigned, while primary care practices will get payments for helping with outreach.
BlueCross has said that it is hoping to move some of its members into this new payment model next year, including those who buy plans using its Affordable Care Act exchange.

There’s nothing quite as effective as a good outbreak story to keep the masses in line when it comes to vaccines. While resistance to vaccine mandates and the CDC’s vaccination schedule have been steadily growing in recent years, there is no doubt that the mainstream media can manipulate an outbreak story very effectively to frighten some who were unsure into vaccinating their children. This was recently confirmed by a study which sought to determine how best the media can manipulate an outbreak story in the “most compelling” way. The study was published in the journal Vaccine.
According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), between 28 December 2014 and 8 February 2015, 125 people were diagnosed with measles after visiting one of the Disney theme parks or having contact with someone who did.
Interestingly, according to that same report, only 45 percent of these patients were unvaccinated, but the mainstream media made sure nobody knew that.
The research team set out to see which stories received the most play, particularly on social media, with a view to using the same strategies in the future.
The authors went on to examine how best to get a pro-vaccine article to “go viral.” Their conclusion? Include “a clear bottom-line message explaining the meaning of vaccination.” (Related: Learn how the mainstream media manipulates the facts at Outbreak.news.)
The team discovered that articles that only contained anecdotes or stories were not likely to move anyone to action, while articles that contained facts and statistics did marginally better. To really get people frightened and motivated, they determined, an article “must clearly explain the bottom line, or gist, of vaccination.”
The study skirts around the issue of what this bottom line is, but one can only imagine that it would run along the lines of: If you don’t get vaccinated you will put others in harm’s way and leave yourself and your children vulnerable to terrible diseases. Vaccination, on the other hand, is 100 percent safe and 100 percent effective.
The problem is, this is simply not true. Vaccines are neither 100 percent effective nor perfectly safe. In truth, they contain ingredients and adjuvants that many people are not comfortable with, and carry the risk of serious side effects. (Related: CDC lies – Measles outbreaks confirmed among children already vaccinated.)
As an example of this, let’s examine the vaccine package insert for the MMR (mumps, measles and rubella) vaccine, as posted online by Merck, the vaccine’s manufacturer.
First off, the growth medium for the vaccine contains recombinant human albumin – the serum albumin found in human blood, derived from aborted fetuses. This would already be enough to disturb the consciences of thousands of potential patients, but you’ll never hear the media breathe a word about it.

A new warning has been issued over quinine, a medicine and ingredient found in beverages like tonic water and bitter lemon.
Long used as a drug for malaria, quinine is no longer a recommended treatment for any condition by the U.K.’s two major healthcare watchdogs. However, that hasn’t stopped doctors in the country from issuing 3.5 million prescriptions for it every year to people who are suffering from issues like cramps, muscle discomfort and restless legs. Doctors are prescribing it off-label for such conditions, and in many cases, patients take it for several years.
Now, researchers from University College London and the Royal Free Medical School have discovered that people who take quinine for more than a year have a 25 percent higher likelihood of early death than those who do not take the drug. Interestingly, those who were younger than 50 had a greater rise in their risk of death than older patients.
The researchers studied those taking prescriptions for quinine of 100 milligrams a day or more over the course of a year or longer. Their findings were published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
Quinine can cause an abnormal heart rhythm in some people, possibly triggering a heart attack. In addition, it can affect blood clotting, which could lead to a stroke or heart attack from a blocked artery.
While drinking a few gin and tonics here and there might not be problematic on its own, those who are already taking quinine as a medicine need to watch their intake because it could heighten their risk even further. In rare cases, even the small amount found in tonic water could be enough to cause one of quinine’s most serious side effects, a severe drop in blood platelet counts that can cause external and internal bleeding. Another worrying side effect is permanent kidney damage.
It is also worth noting that quinine passes through the placenta and can cause birth defects, which means that pregnant women should avoid it at all costs. In addition, it is known to interact with some common drugs like statins and the heart failure medication digoxin.

…it was obvious that Monsanto had had some influence over the journal and the paper’s ultimate retraction. But the latest document leak shows just how much influence.
The case against Monsanto is the gift that keeps on giving. Previously in these pages I discussed how the trial of Monsanto currently taking place in the California Northern District Court–technically a “Multidistrict Litigation” formally known as “In re: Roundup Products Liability Litigation (MDL No. 2741)” –is airing some of the agrichemical behemoth’s dirtiest laundry.
In my article “Monsatan On Trial For Roundup Cancer,” I revealed how dozens of lawsuits against Monsanto for its role in causing the non-Hodgkin lymphoma of thousands of people across the US had been rolled into one dramatic court case, and how discovery from that case had yielded the remarkable deathbed testimony of EPA whistleblower Jess Rowland.
Then, new documents emerged from the case confirming what many had long suspected: that Monsanto has an entire internal corporate program (appropriately entitled “Let Nothing Go”) employing an army of internet trolls to spam the company’s propaganda on every social media post, forum and online comment board where its products and practices are being discussed.
Just this week, one of the law firms working on the trial released an equally explosive collection of “Monsanto’s Secret Documents” proving another long-suspected claim against the world’s most evil company: That they have in fact ghostwritten many of the key articles defending their products in the mainstream press, articles that were supposedly written by “independent” journalists. When the embarrassing details of the story came to light, including a suggested “draft” of an article written by Monsanto for Forbes “journalist” Henry Miller in 2015 that was exactly identical to the article that appeared under his name, Forbes pulled the story from their website and ended Miller’s employment. In a different leaked email exchange, former Monsanto consultant John Acquavella complained to a Monsanto executive, “I can’t be part of deceptive authorship on a presentation or publication,” adding “We call that ghost writing and it is unethical.”
But if all that wasn’t bad enough, the latest documents to emerge from the case also detail exactly how Monsanto attempted to smear the research of Gilles-Éric Séralini, the French scientist who published a groundbreaking study showing an increase in tumors among rats fed genetically modified corn and Monsanto’s RoundUp herbicide.
The Séralini affair, as it has come to be known, is something that long-time Corbett Reporteers will be familiar with by now. For those who haven’t seen my *COUGHProjectCensoredAwardWinningCOUGH* video on the subject, here’s the synopsis:
In “Long term toxicity of a Roundup herbicide and a Roundup-tolerant genetically modified maize,” published in the Journal of Food and Chemical Toxicology in 2012, Dr. Gilles-Eric Séralini of the University of Caen and his team of researchers followed 200 rats over two years, divided into 10 groups of 20 (10 male rats and 10 female rats). Three of the groups were fed Monsanto’s patented NK603 GMO corn alone, three groups were fed the corn treated with Roundup herbicide, three groups were fed Roundup-treated water but no GMO corn and a control group was fed neither GMO corn nor Roundup herbicide. The team’s results indicated that the rats fed the Roundup or the GMO corn, separately or combined, were more likely to experience a range of ill health effects than the non-GMO control group.
So far, so straightforward. But then the Monsanto PR machine™ kicked into action. Suddenly, the study was being pilloried as “unscientific” from all quarters. But it was not “unscientific” because it failed to apply the usual scientific standards and practices, but because it applied the very standards and practices of all previous toxicity studies on glyphosate. The only problem was that the Séralini study continued observing the rats for their full two-year average lifespan, while previous industry-sponsored feeding studies had only observed the rats for three months. Tellingly, Séralini’s team found that most of the adverse health effects documented in the study did not begin developing until the fourth month of the experiment.
Condemnations of the study, which had been carried out in near total secrecy to avoid industry pressure, were swift in coming. The European Food Safety Agency (EFSA), for example, the very same agency that in 2009 had recommendedNK603 Roundup-tolerant maize for regulatory approval in the EU without any independent testing, issued a blistering 22-point press release defending its own assessment of the GM corn’s safety. They concluded that Séralini’s work “does not meet acceptable scientific standards and there is no need to re-examine previous safety evaluations of genetically modified maize NK603.” What the press release neglected to mention was that the EFSA had in fact not examined the safety of Monsanto’s corn in the first place, conducting no animal tests itself, instead relying on “information supplied by the applicant” (i.e., Monsanto).

We are living under a pharmaceutical dictatorship that spends billions of dollars to systematically bribe medical professionals and influence lawmakers. This industry uses the media and associated press not only to advertise its products but also to influence news stories that scare people into vaccinating for alleged protection against benign illnesses.
For example, all media coverage of “measles outbreaks” is really a scripted re-run pharmaceutical advertisement used to scare parents so they will submit their children and comply with the vaccine industry’s current orders. No real information is shared about measles, why so-called vaccine protection wears off, why deadly measles cases were going down before a vaccine was introduced, or why no one has died from the complication of this illness in the past decade. These scare stories never reveal why it’s a good thing to be naturally exposed to the measles virus, so an individual can gain real, lifelong immunity that also prepares the immune system for more important stressors later in life.

Following the 2016 presidential election, far-Left journalists, Democrats and #nevertrump Deep State operatives invented a number of excuses as to why the “shoo-in” candidate, Hillary Clinton, really lost to GOP nominee Donald J. Trump.
The Russians “hacked” the election. Trump “colluded” with Moscow to “steal” it. And Kremlin-planted fake news helped sway voters away from President Obama’s heir-apparent and towards the carnival barker and former reality TV star.
The Washington Post led with the Russia-planted fake news narrative, claiming in a late November story that Moscow’s intelligence service was planting anti-Hillary stories in more than 200 alternative and independent news sites as a way of undermining her candidacy. The story was so full of holes that other Left-wing media sites criticized it. Eventually, the paper was forced to print a sort-of, kind-of retraction, as Natural News founder/editor Mike Adams (whose site was listed as one of those pushing fake anti-Clinton news, compliments of Vladimir Putin) pointed out.

The state is deciding who is fit to be parents, keeping parents from treating their sick kids, and arresting parents if their kids skip school. Oh but don’t worry about that smart device in the home. All that info it’s collecting on your kids could never fall into the wrong hands.
Parents in Oregon have had two of their children taken away by the state. There is no evidence, or even accusation, of abuse or neglect. But the parents have low IQs. So the state can take your kids if they decide you are too dumb.
The psychopaths in the British government are still trying to prevent a baby with a rare disease from getting treatment in America. The U.S. Congress has granted the child citizenship in order to circumvent British authorities. Now an American dad of a child recovering from a similar condition speaks out.

Italy’s controversial new measure that requires young students to get vaccines against 12 common illnesses is not going over too well with the people, who have taken to the streets to protest the rule.
In May, officials ruled that kids will not be allowed to enroll in state-run schools until they’ve gotten the vaccines for measles, chicken pox, mumps, hepatitis B, tetanus and polio. Parents who send non-vaccinated kids to schools or even child care facilities will be given steep fines, and repeat offenders could even lose custody of their children. The parents will have to present proof of vaccinations each school year.
