He insisted that Minsk\u2019s security forces are prepared for the threat, and will not let such a scenario materialize.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Speaking on Thursday at a meeting of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) security chiefs, Lukashenko said a \u201c<em>violent regime change is being prepared<\/em>\u201d in Belarus.<\/p>\n<p>He went on to allege that \u201c<em>in Poland, Lithuania and, unfortunately Ukraine, illegal members of armed groups are being trained.<\/em>\u201d The operatives, according to Lukashenko, intend to create \u201c<em>sleeping extremist cells<\/em>\u201d in Belarus.<\/p>\n<p><!--more Read More--> TRUTH LIVES on at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sgtreport.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/sgtreport.tv\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The president cited recent joint operations with Russian security forces, during which explosives were allegedly seized.<picture><\/picture>\n<p>\u201c<em>This fact means that they won\u2019t leave us alone,<\/em>\u201d he predicted.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenko claimed that Belarusian citizens opposed to his government are fighting for Ukraine and gaining combat experience there.<\/p>\n<p>He alleged that unlike the protests of 2020, the West is now urging the country\u2019s opposition to engage in acts of armed violence, and is funding such activities.<\/p>\n<p>Lukashenko warned other CIS member states that they may encounter similar threats in future, and called for greater security cooperation.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing on Poland\u2019s Polsat TV channel late last month, retired general Waldemar Skrzypczak called on authorities in Warsaw to \u201c<em>prepare for an uprising in Belarus,<\/em>\u201d insisting that \u201c<em>it will happen.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>We must be ready to support the troops that will carry out the operation against Lukashenko.
