He has repeatedly called for silencing people he does not care for.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/lithub.com\/an-open-letter-to-the-american-people\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">In 2016, he penned a letter<\/a>\u00a0with more than 300 other authors attacking then candidate Donald Trump seemingly encouraging a \u201cforceful\u201d response to his candidacy saying, \u201cBecause the rise of a political candidate who deliberately appeals to the basest and most violent elements in society, who encourages aggression among his followers, shouts down opponents, intimidates dissenters, and denigrates women and minorities, demands, from each of us, an immediate and forceful response.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><!--more Read More--> TRUTH LIVES on at\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/sgtreport.tv\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\">https:\/\/sgtreport.tv\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2017\/08\/author-stephen-king-attacks-president-trump-claiming-needs-removed\/\">The Gateway Pundit reported<\/a>\u00a0on King, \u201cI think that he\u2019s sort of the last stand of a sort of American male who feels like women have gotten out of their place and they\u2019re letting in all these people that have the wrong skin colors. He speaks to those people,\u201d said King, stating Trump appealed to people who \u201cwould like to have a world where you just didn\u2019t question that the white American was at the top of the pecking order.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Though he either didn\u2019t care, or actively cheered, when conservatives were silenced, now, King seems miffed about account suspensions.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Why have journalists had their Twitter accounts suspended?
