Wendy’s is implementing AI powered by Google to take customers’ drive-thru orders. The company claims that the AI system will not just take orders, claiming, “It’s a personalized, responsive experience for every customer.”

History is a funny thing as it’s unfolding, where it all ends is never quite sure. We are living in a period of astounding and historical change, a paradigm shift if you will, as we make the move as a global society to artificial intelligence. We are rushing gleefully into it, but I am wondering if we will be experiencing that same level of euphoria when it is fully implemented.
