After the airstrike that killed Iranian military leader Qasem Soleimani, Iranians and Iraqis are celebrating.
The U.S.’s action came in response to an Iranian-supported militia attack on the U.S. embassy in Iraq.
According to Steve Watson of Summit News, Soleimani, the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps’ elite Quds Force, was a despised figure in Iran and Iraq among those persecuted by the Iranian government and its proxies.
