The Roman Catholic Church has a long and storied history of priests, bishops and cardinals who sexually abused untold tens of thousands of young boys and girls, with some of them like Emanuela Orlandi who were never heard from again. What did the Vatican, over the reign of multiple pope kids do about it? In nearly 100% of the cases, they covered it up, transferred the offending clergy member to a new country and a new church to do it all over again. The study, “Comparative Safety of the BNT162b2 Messenger RNA COVID-19 Vaccine vs Other Approved Vaccines in Children Younger Than 5 Years,” was published in JAMA on Tuesday, two days before the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices voted to recommend COVID-19 to be included in the 2023 childhood immunization schedule.

The World Health Organization is worried about the Ebola outbreak. The most recent 8 cases of Ebola have had no contact with anyone who had been infected with the virus previously.
The WHO said initial investigations into the cases by Uganda’s Ministry of Health had shown they were not contacts of people already known to have Ebola. “We remain concerned that there may be more chains of transmission and more contacts than we know about in the affected communities,” WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus told reporters.

The UK has seen an unexplained surge in deaths in recent months, causing concern among the country’s chief medical officers.
Many suggestions have been put forward for why there have been about 22,500 more deaths between April and August than would normally be expected, but there is little agreement so far on the cause or causes. A spokesperson for the UK government’s Department of Health and Social Care, for example, says: “Analysis is ongoing, however early investigation suggests circulatory diseases and diabetes may be partly responsible for the majority of excess deaths.”
