This announcement came after 240,000 unverified ballots were mailed out to voters. Secretary of State Leigh Chapman announced that revealed that there will likely be delays in the publication of the results following the midterm elections.n

Gold and silver consolidated the small gains of the previous week in subdued paper trading. In European this morning, gold was at $1649, down $9 from last Friday’s close, and silver at $19.22 off 16 cents. Broader financial markets also reflected consolidation.
The dollar’s TWI weakened, at one point dropping below 110. There appeared to be a concerted effort to keep the yen rate below 150, the euro rallied to over parity and sterling improved on the back of a new market-friendly UK government. This is reflected in the chart below of the dollar’s TWI.

A federal judge has ordered True the Vote founder Catherine Engelbrecht and researcher Gregg Phillips to identify their source in their investigation of the election software company Konnech by Monday or face jail.
Earlier this month, the CEO of Michigan-based Konnech, Eugene Yu, was arrested and charged by Los Angeles County prosecutors for allegedly storing election worker data on servers based in China.
