Julian Assange sits in a jail cell today after being betrayed by the Ecuadorian government and his home country of Australia. A British judge named Michael Snow has found the WikiLeaks founder guilty of violating bail conditions, inserting himself into the annals of history by labeling Assange “a narcissist who cannot get beyond his own selfish interest.” So that tells you how much of a fair and impartial legal proceeding we can expect to see from the British judicial process on this matter.
by Glenn Greenwald, The Intercept:
THE INDICTMENT OF JULIAN ASSANGE unsealed today by the Trump Justice Department poses grave threats to press freedoms, not only in the U.S. but around the world. The charging document and accompanying extradition request from the U.S. Government, used by the U.K. police to arrest Assange once Ecuador officially withdrew its asylum protection, seeks to criminalize numerous activities at the core of investigative journalism.
by R. Cort Kirkwood, The New American:
The former general counsel of the FBI told a congressional committee in October that Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein (shown) did indeed discuss removing President Trump with the 25th Amendment to the Constitution.
James Baker’s newly released testimony, in an executive session before a joint meeting of the House Judiciary and Government Reform and Oversight Committees, confirms the revelation from former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, who said likewise in an interview with 60 Minutes two months ago.
by Kyle Olson, The American Mirror:
Former model — and Julian Assange ally — Pamela Anderson believes the arrest of the Wikileaks founder this morning is serving as a “diversion from your idiotic Brexit bullsh*t.”
Anderson, who has visited Assange as he’d been holed up at the Ecuadorian embassy in London, took to Twitter to lash out at Ecuador, Great Britain and the United States after Assange was dramatically dragged out of the building earlier today.
from Conservative Treehouse:
In the Day #2 transcript released today FBI chief legal counsel James Baker was asked about a specific series of Lisa Page and Peter Strzok text messages on the evening President Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.
Comey was fired on May 9th, 2017. Later that night Peter Strzok and Lisa Page had the following text conversation:

The West – its governments and its governments’ scribes – are obsessed with Russian President Vladimir Putin. “Obsessed” is probably too weak a word to describe the years of impassioned coverage, airy speculation and downright nonsense. He is the world’s leading cover boy: military hats, Lenin poses, imperial crowns, scary red eyes, strait-jackets, clown hats; anything and everything. He’s the avatar of Stalin, he’s the avatar of the Tsars, he’s the Joker, he’s Cthulhu, he’s Voldemort, he’s Satan. He’s the palimpsest for the New World Order’s nightmares. Putin is always messing with our minds. He weaponises information, misinformation and sexual assault accusations. Childrens’ cartoons, fishsticks, Pokemon and Yellow Vests, “Putin’s warships” are lurking when they aren’t stalking; “Putin’s warplanes” penetrate European airspace; “Putin’s tanks”, massing in 2016, massing in 2018, still massing. His empire of rogue states grows. All Putin, all the time.
