Bing Chatbot ‘Off The Rails’: Tells NYT It Would ‘Engineer A Deadly Virus, Steal Nuclear Codes’

    from ZeroHedge:

Microsoft’s Bing AI chatbot has gone full HAL, minus the murder (so far).

While MSM journalists initially gushed over the artificial intelligence technology (created by OpenAI, which makes ChatGPT), it soon became clear that it’s not ready for prime time.

For example, the NY Times‘ Kevin Roose wrote that while he first loved the new AI-powered Bing, he’s now changed his mind – and deems it “not ready for human contact.”

It’s 2030, and robots have more rights than you do…

      by Mark E. Jeftovic, Bombthrower:

Now that ChatGPT has exploded onto the stage, there is renewed hype around Artificial Intelligence (AI). Whenever AI captures the public imagination, we are subjected to unrestrained conjectures around how it will inevitably take over the future and change our lives.

We’re led to believe that AI will usher an era of hyper-intelligent overlords, so far advanced beyond our own coarse and analog cognitive skills that the existential question of the future will center around:

Ukraine Is Sinking. Are Western Elites Bailing Out?

by Mike Whitney, The Unz Review:

What makes the RAND Corporation’s latest report on Ukraine so significant, is not the quality of the analysis, but the fact that the nation’s most prestigious national security think-tank has taken an opposite position on the war than the Washington political class and their globalist alliesThis is a very big deal. Keep in mind, wars don’t end because the public opposes them. That is a myth. Wars end when a critical split emerges between elites that eventually leads to a change in policy. The RAND Corporation’s new report, “Avoiding a long war: US policy and the trajectory of the Russia-Ukraine conflict”, represents just such a split. It indicates that powerful elites have broken with the majority opinion because they think the current policy is hurting the United States. We believe this shift in perspective is going to gain momentum until it triggers a more-assertive demand for negotiations. In other words, the RAND report is the first step towards ending the war.

        Biden’s Reichstag Fire

by Edward R. Zuckerbrod, American Thinker:

I’ve always detested people who make facile comparisons of anything that goes on in the U.S. to the manifold horrors of Nazi Germany. The freedoms and privileges we’ve enjoyed in this extraordinary nation made even the worst problems we’ve experienced pale in comparison to the brutality and death perpetrated by the Third Reich. To my mind, drawing parallels between them is a cheap, insulting, and wholly illegitimate way of gaining quick attention.

          America Is Being Eradicated

by Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Craig Roberts:

No sooner had I given up on the US Congress when Georgia Republican Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Green said  that “Ukraine is the new Iraq wrapped up with a pretty little NATO bow, with a nuclear present inside.”  She said that instead of sending weapons and billions of dollars to Ukraine, the US should pull out of NATO and avoid nuclear war by ceasing to provoke the Russians.

“Grinding up Ukraine to fight with Russia is disgusting, Russia could have been an ally,” she tweeted.

“Warmongers in Washington seeking war with Russia should suit up and go fight it” themselves, she suggested. “Send your kids and leave ours alone. Pay for it yourself.”

The ‘Wrong’ Turning Brings on the ‘Fourth Turning’

              by Alastair Crooke, Strategic Culture:

If we determine to imagine the world as machine, then ‘reality’ will present itself as a machine, Alastair Crooke writes.

For the last four hundred years, west Europeans have lived one very particular ‘vision’; one that stands poles-apart from that which went earlier. As Galileo pursued his experimentation in Italy, it was Francis Bacon who set out a clear theory of inductive procedure – to make experiments, and to draw general conclusions from them, to be tested in further experiments.

              from SGT Report:

Mathematician, AI aficionado and founder of joins me to discuss his thesis that computers cannot become sentient although that’s what the NWO powers and mainstream media want you to believe. AI is the perfect trojan horse to be used to lock humanity down, forever.

The 2022/2023 Controlled Demolition of the Global Economic & Financial System is Being Conducted by…..

                from State Of The Nation:

It’s absolutely true: the Global Economic & Financial System, which effectively controls the entire planet civilization, is controlled by an AI-directed super-computing system known as Aladdin.

However, what no one is talking about is the exceedingly advanced level of AI technology at which the Aladdin supercomputer(s) operates.

Bill Gates prediction that the world would face an unexpected smallpox outbreak is miraculously unfolding. Should we be surprised?

IRS Rolls Out Artificial Intelligence Tools for Enhanced Audits

                    by John Rubino, Dollar Collapse:

                    From Mark Nestmann:

A few months ago, I received an invitation to attend a lecture with the mind-numbing title, “The Transformation of Tax & Customs Law into the Digital World of Processes, Automation and Predictions.” I wasn’t able to attend, but it reminded me that like the android hosts in Westworld, the IRS was developing an artificial consciousness.

Or, as two lawyers writing about the increasing use of artificial intelligence and big data in tax enforcement and compliance asked, “Do IRS computers dream about tax cheats?”

Prince Andrew wants disgraced actor to testify at trial – media

                      from RT:

The royal reportedly wants Kevin Spacey to admit that he invited convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell to Buckingham Palace

Prince Andrew is allegedly seeking the assistance of actor and accused sex predator Kevin Spacey in clearing his name, The Sun reported, citing sources.

The Duke of York’s legal team allegedly wants the actor to tell a jury that recently convicted sex offender and Jeffrey Epstein “madam” Ghislaine Maxwell was Spacey’s guest – not the Prince’s – during a 2002 tour of Buckingham Palace.

This Is How the U.S. Does ‘Dialogue’

                        by Pepe Escobar, Strategic Culture:

Washington will not consider Russian proposals on no expansion of NATO, and has no intention of even discussing the idea. So much for “dialogue”.

It was the first high-level Russia-NATO meeting since 2019 – coming immediately after the non sequitur of the U.S.-Russia “security guarantee” non-dialogue dialogue earlier in the week in Geneva.

So what happened in Brussels? Essentially yet another non-dialogue dialogue – complete with a Kafkaesque NATO preface: we’re prepared for dialogue, but the Kremlin’s proposals are unacceptable.

This was a double down on the American envoy to NATO, Julianne Smith, preemptively blaming Russia for the actions that “accelerated this disaster”.

Dr. Fauci Accused of Funding Horrific Experiments On Beagles & Other Animals

                          by Arjun Walia, The Pulse:

                          • The Facts:
                            • The NIAID, under Fauci, used 44 beagle puppies in a North Africa laboratory to test an experimental drug.
                            • Their heads were placed in cages while sand flies were allowed to eat them alive.
                            • Some of the dogs had their vocal cords removed so scientists could work without incessant barking.
                            • The dogs spent 9 days in a Tunisia desert during these trials.
                          • Reflect On:
                            • If the majority of animal-testing results in failure, and in many cases testing involves products that can be made with non-toxic substances, why do we keep justifying torture?
                            • What does this say about our relationship to animals and nature?
                            • Is our domineering societal worldview the cause for such justifications?

Tesla to build humanoid robots to help owners with ‘dangerous & repetitive tasks’ (PHOTOS)

                            from RT:

Elon Musk’s Tesla said it is using technology tested out on self-driving cars to build a humanoid robot designed to assist humans in day-to-day work. The prototype is set to be unveiled next year.

The news was announced on Tesla’s AI Day, which was streamed on the company’s website Thursday night.

The presentation began with a person in a robot suit performing a variety of dances on stage. Musk quickly stepped in to assure everyone that “that was not real.”

He then said that the prototype of a humanoid robot with a similar design, called ‘Tesla Bot’, will be ready sometime next year.

The Way to Defeat the Globalist Reset: Local Production for Local Consumption…

                              by Peter Koenig, Global Research:

In most countries the Constitutional Amendment from “Democracy” to Dictatorship has happened clandestinely or at least semi-clandestinely. That’s what dictators do. Most of the people have no idea. Many of those who do know, don’t agree. They launch initiatives for new laws – that fall by the way side, because they have no teeth under a Martial Law-broken Constitution.

In Switzerland, the situation is slightly different, better of sorts. The Confederation Helvetica (CH) has a semi-direct Democracy. With 50,000 signatures, scrupulously verified for their validity, Swiss citizens can launch a referendum against a specific law. The referendum may eventually come to a popular vote – and a government/Parliament let law may be overruled. Though, this happens very rarely – the money lobby-propaganda is too strong – occasionally the people may have a chance. In these covid-times, it may actually happen. Within 18 months, from the beginning of 2020 to about mid-2021 citizens have basically no longer the very rights they could otherwise call as a human right. HRs have become worthless. In most cases police and military are under strict orders to obey. Those who don’t may lose their jobs, or worse.
