If Hamas had been able to hold off the IDF, the entire Islamic world would have greatly rejoiced and Hezbollah would have no need to escalate the war to the next level. But instead, the opposite is happening. The IDF has successfully surrounded Gaza City, the perimeter is being tightened with each passing day, and the tunnels that Hamas is hiding in are being systematically destroyed. On top of everything else, the bunker of the top military commander of Hamas has been “isolated”, and we are being told that he will soon be dead. All of this is going to create tremendous pressure on Hezbollah, because radical Muslims all over the globe are calling for the terror group to intervene before Hamas is completely wiped out. Of course there has already been fighting day after day along the northern front. In fact, video footage of a massive explosion that just happened in southern Lebanon is being widely shared on social media.

Are both sides misleading us about what they intend to do? U.S. officials have been able to keep the financial markets calm by telling us that Iran is defeated and that the war will end soon, but meanwhile thousands of U.S. troops are being deployed to the Middle East and it appears that preparations are being made for a major ground operation. The Iranians have told us over and over again that they will never produce nuclear weapons, but now we have learned that the regime has come to the conclusion that “it has nothing to gain by holding back from building a bomb”. I am extremely concerned about where all of this is eventually heading if both sides just continue to escalate matters.

The attacks are mainly defeated by Russian air defense, but the attacks show that the conflict has spread beyond Donbas into Russia. NATO satellites and personnel are providing the intelligence for Ukraine’s attacks on Russia. NATO members have announced that most NATO members already have troops serving various capacities in Ukraine.
