Exposed: Court documents cast doubt on Boris Johnson’s claim nerve gas is in ‘no doubt’ Novichok

by Gustavo Valiente, RT:

Boris Johnson has insisted that British chemical lab Porton Down told him the nerve agent used to attack the Skripals was definitely Novichok. However, court documents suggest there is no such certainty.

In an interview with Deutsche Welle on Thursday, the UK foreign secretary claimed that a Porton Down scientist was “absolutely categorical” in confirming to him that the source of the nerve agent, identified by the UK as A-234 – also known as Novichok – was Russian. Johnson said: “Let me be clear with you… the people from Porton Down, the laboratory… they were absolutely categorical and I asked the guy myself, I said, ‘Are you sure?’ And he said there’s no doubt.”

A Million Iraqis Asked Us to Leave. We Should Listen.

by Ron Paul, Ron Paul Institute:

You wouldn’t know it from US mainstream media reporting, but on Friday an estimated million Iraqis took to the streets to protest the continued US military presence in their country. What little mainstream media coverage the protest received all reported the number of protesters as far less than actually turned out. The Beltway elites are determined that Americans not know or understand just how much our presence in Iraq is not wanted.

North Korea – ECM & War

by Martin Armstrong, Armstrong Economics:
It was just one day after the first test of an intercontinental rocket by North Korea, that the US demonstrated military strength and threatened further sanctions against the isolated state. We have to understand that we are dealing with a pampered buy Kim Jong Un who will never yield to sanctions and counter-measures of rocket tests.

Donald Trump has classified North Korea as the major threat to the USA – not Russia. The US requested an urgent session of the UN Security Council in New York last week. The leadership in Pyongyang threatened the USA with further weapon tests and boasted that North Korea would never abandon nuclear weapons.

from ZeroHedge:

As Lockheed Martin plans to deliver the next batch of F-35A stealth fighter jets to South Korea in March, Chinese military observers have stated that an upgraded Chinese J-20 stealth fighter will achieve “overwhelming superiority” over the F-35 in the future and that the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAF) can defend China against the “US F-35 friends circle” in the Asia-Pacific region.

Yonhap News Agency reported the fighters would arrive by the end of March. The shipment of new stealth fighters is part of South Korea’s procurement of 40 F-35As in 2014 at the cost of more than $100 million per plane.

Russia’s Amazing New Anti-Nuke Rockets Are Far Better Than America’s – Russian TV News

by Nicholas Sokolov, Russia Insider:

Russia says its cutting edge anti-ballistic missile systems completely protect it against a first strike from everybody’s favorite war-mongering superpower.

“We, along with many experts, believe that this weapon is best-in-class in the whole world.” – Valery Kashin, Missile Designer

With tensions at an all-time high around the world, talks of states acquiring nuclear weapons, and the possibility that someone might be stupid enough to start a nuclear war, all states, including Russia, are interested in missile defense. This video report by on the Russian evening news hosted by the country’s top anchor, Dmitry Kiselyov, goes into detail about this aspect of the modern Russian arsenal, as well as other advanced Russian military gear. (Full Transcript Below).

The truth is missile defence is a crapshoot, it’s a bit like trying to bat away golf balls flying towards you armed only with a tennis racket. You can stop a few, but if hundreds come…you’re screwed. Eventually one of them will hit. If any country is likely to develop this technology, it will be the United States with its massive military budget dwarfing the other top ten countries put together, or Russia, legendary for its rocketry.

But the truth is…Russian rocketry is not equal to American…it is far superior.

It all began when Russia put the first satellite, and then the first man in space. Russia has an endless legacy of excellence in the field of rocketry.

This is perhaps one of the reasons why it is so infuriating how Russia can still be called a backwards country, and even Americans who respect Russia are still under the impression it lags behind significantly not only the US, but most of Europe.

Earth to America…Russia currently operates the flights to International Space Station which YOUR astronauts use! Due to setbacks at NASA and with SpaceX, American astronauts are looking at still remaining reliant on Russian rockets to fly them to space until at least 2019, provided there are no setbacks.

Russia is a rocketry colossus, and she’s lending her considerable might not only to the world, in providing humanity transport to space, but to defend her borders from any nuclear threats foolish enough to attack the country which detonated the largest nuclear explosion known to man…at half yield.

Cold Wars & Profit

by Craig Murray, Consortium News:

Craig Murray lambasts a Russophobic media that celebrates a supposed cyber attack on UK vaccine research, ignores collapse of key evidence of a “hack” and dabbles in dubious memorabilia.

The Guardian a few days ago carried a very strange piece  [which has since been removed] under the heading “Stamps celebrating Ukrainian resistance in pictures.” The first image displayed a stamp bearing the name of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army (UPA).

“Humanitarian” Sanctions Are Killing Syrians

by Harley Schlanger, LaRouche PAC:

“Humanitarian Sanctions” Are Killing Syrians, While New Sanctions Threaten To Crash The Russian Economy: They Must Be Overturned!

April 16 — As the Biden administration is recklessly expanding the sanctions regime which has become the routine response from Anglo-American officials to any government they accuse of violating the “rules-based order”, Helga Zepp-LaRouche issued a call to end this practice, beginning with lifting the “Caesar Sanctions” against Syria. Zepp-LaRouche, the founder of the Schiller Institute, released a statement on April 15, as an “Urgent Call to Stop the Genocide in Syria and Yemen: The Moral Collapse of the Western System Cries Out for a New Paradigm”. Her call, which is intended to alert the world to the deliberate mass murder imposed on the Syrian people through the Caesar Sanctions, coincided with the announcement by the White House of new sanctions against Russia, the most damaging of which is an assault against Russia’s ability to issue ruble-denominated debt, with the stated purpose of triggering massive capital flight and wreaking havoc on the Russian economy.
