Not everything that looks like a duck is a duck and car accidents have been known to happen, but the gasoline can part of it raises a lot of red flags.
Two people were killed and five others, including three pedestrians, were injured early Monday in a crash outside the Kodak Center following a New Year’s Eve concert.
Police said a Ford Expedition traveling east on West Ridge Road struck a Mitsubishi Outlander that was pulling out of a parking lot around 12:50 a.m., killing two adult passengers in the Mitsubishi.
So far not so strange. And then it gets strange.

When writing for a new publication, many thoughts come to mind. Who are the audience? What are their primary beliefs and attitudes toward current events, and what do they want to read? I have been writing for many years and have contributed to other forums, allowing me to grow as a writer. In the beginning, I was writing to educate myself. Writing is an excellent way to learn about any topic. As time goes on, one’s writing will transform from a self-educating text to one written for a specific audience in mind. This is a process that, according to an article in The Journal of Writing Research, takes a decade or more to develop. Keeping this in mind, I am jumping into this new column with many years of research experience, opinions, speculations, and an uncanny ability to go against mainstream conservative thought, while providing legitimate sources showing why my positions are what they are. With this being said, let’s jump into this, shall we?

On December 28, China’s Defense Ministry urged Asia-Pacific nations to be vigilant against U.S. military deployments in the region, quoting the Pentagon’s plan to rebuild a World War II-era airfield on a small island north of Guam.
During a press conference, military spokesman Wu Qian said the American airfield scheme was only a means for Washington to “maintain its hegemony,” a move that would “stoke confrontation.”
“The Chinese military is paying close attention to moves by the United States, and will firmly safeguard China’s maritime rights, security and sovereignty in the region,” he said.

It is difficult for any American who loves this country to watch its political, economic, and military “leaders” destroy it. Part of the political theater propping up the illusion of electoral choice in this Kabuki dance that the State-controlled press calls “democracy” is the lie that officeholders from different parties are at each other’s throats. More Americans than ever finally see through this convenient fiction and understand that a single Uniparty acts as a guild of political thespians who are the face of a permanently entrenched national security Deep State that runs the show.

The US federal workforce comprises just under 3 million employees. Do you feel like you are reaping the benefits of a workforce that large? While 3 million sounds like a massive number, there were more federal workers (3.1 million) in 1944. Actually, in 1939, there were under one million, but the number tripled in size in just five years, mainly to deal with the Great Depression and World War II. In 1990, the federal workforce peaked at 3.4 million employees under the presidency of George H. W. Bush (we call him “Daddy Bush” in Texas).

In a world where technological advancements touch every aspect of our lives, our food system has not been left behind. The emergence of genetically modified organisms (GMOs) and other forms of modified crops is reshaping agriculture. While an article I recently came across celebrates a modified crop designed to relieve overburdened farmlands, it’s crucial to delve deeper and understand the broader implications of these modifications.

It’s a multipolar world. And the BRICS countries mean to put this new reality to their advantage as much as they can.
The new year begins with a brand new reality for the BRICS group: Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa are now joined by Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, Iran, and Ethiopia as new members.

There are many reasons to halt the drive to eliminate fossil fuels. The charge toward renewables isn’t rational; it’s the fanaticism of a quasi-religious cult.
