Censorship Tightens As Governments Lose Control

by Tom Luongo, Tom Luongo:

Governments have lost control of the narrative that they are in control of events. Everyday I wake up to another instance of outrageous censorship from some ‘social media’ company blocking or banning someone for no apparent reason.

The latest outrage is Twitter banning the account of Wikileaks publisher Julian Assange’s mother, Christine.

Australian and New Zealand ISPs have gone bonkers IP blocking sites in the wake of the Christchurch massacre. Sites like Zerohedge have been targeted in the past two weeks for publishing narratives orthogonal to what the governments in the West are comfortable with people consuming.

ABC News anchor admits coordinated cover-up of Jeffrey Epstein rapes by mainstream media; news outlets complicit in repeated child rape crimes

by Mike Adams, Natural News:

A bombshell new video published by Project Veritas reveals ABC News anchor Amy Robach admitting on a hot mic that her network deliberately covered up the mass child rape crimes of Jeffrey Epstein in order to protect Bill Clinton and Prince Andrew.

The video, which YouTube has not yet banned (but probably will soon), shows Robach saying the following:

Robach: “I’ve Had This Story for Three Years… (ABC) Would Not Put It on The Air” says Good Morning America Breaking News Anchor, and 20/20 Co-Anchor Amy Robach. “It Was Unbelievable… We Had – Clinton, We Had Everything…”

You Won’t Believe The Nerve of These Three Government Officials

0

from The Daily Bell:

The problem with government is it elevates people to positions of power over their fellow citizens. And all too often, these people take advantage of their status.

You Get The Prosecutors You Pay For

When you’re in power, the rules don’t really apply to you. I mean, sure, officially you still have to follow the law. But what happens when a politician is in a position to change the rules?

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has found an interesting way to fight charges of securities fraud. His lawyers are attempting to limit how much prosecutors can be paid. As Attorney General, Paxton is in a unique position to defang the prosecutors attempting to hold him accountable for illegal activity.

States typically have the power to pay prosecutors more for tough high profile cases. But the Attorney General has used this as an opportunity to try to limit the pay for prosecutors. He says it is to make sure the government doesn’t take advantage of their power to gouge taxpayers.

A helpful side effect is that the prosecutors might drop off his case if they are limited to what they can earn.

This move has threatened the ability of the state to attract qualified prosecutors for tough cases, like prosecuting the attorney general. Classic conflicts of interest inherent in government.

Police Get a Little Overzealous

As much as police need to be held accountable, they also need to protect themselves. One cop saw his partner being attacked by a man with a knife. The guy even got a couple stabs in. Clearly, the police officer was completely justified in shooting the man.

He shot him nine times, and the man was down. But he was still moving. At this point, procedure says an officer should stop with the deadly force. But the officer instead shot the man nine more times, later justifying it by saying he was still moving.

Then the cop, according to court documents, took a running start and stomped on the man’s head, three times.

So again, completely justified to use deadly force on a knife-wielding man attacking your partner. Not justified to shoot him an additional nine times after he was down, and then stomp on his head, for some reason.

It really just seems like this cop was waiting for an opportunity to go Rambo on someone. And that is a scary person to have out there on the streets enforcing the law.

At least the appeals court will allow the dead man’s family to sue for excessive force. Too often police are given sovereign immunity and cannot be held civilly accountable for their actions on the job.

Legal Consequences For Lying About Service

A police officer and former military member was dealt a double blow. A court affirmed that he cannot sue a news station over defamation. At the same time, he was found guilty of fraud to obtain government benefits.

Facial Recognition ID Begins To Spread From Planes To Trains

by Nicholas West, Activist Post

The march continues to accelerate toward a future of biometric ID for all travel.

Regular readers might know that over the past several months I’ve been covering some disturbing developments at airports in the U.S. and internationally that seem to show an acceleration of the plan to use biometric identification in a variety of ways.

On May 19th I reported on a new program initiated by Delta Airlines at Minneapolis-St. Paul airport to have automated baggage kiosks for “priority customers” that will first scan a traveler’s passport, then their face in order to match identity to checked luggage. It was promoted as a “pilot program” that Delta launched to seek customer feedback in the hope that it could be rolled out more widely in the future. That program has now entered phase 2 at Reagan National Airport with biometric boarding passes for rewards members.

JetBlue stated they will “test facial- and fingerprint-recognition technology at two U.S. airports to replace boarding passes, building on industry efforts to increase security and ease passage through airports.”

These stories were smaller pieces to a larger puzzle that U.S. Customs and Border Protection is attempting to solve per federal mandate. CBP announced on June 15th that they would integrate government databases with a private company to speed up biometric processing.

Moreover, the Department of Homeland Security has made it clear that biometric ID will eventually be mandatory for foreign travel, saying that “the only way for an individual to ensure he or she is not subject to collection of biometric information when traveling internationally is to refrain from traveling.” That’s right, no opt-out, just stay home.

OK, so no worries – airline travel sucks these days anyway, right? And most people probably can’t even afford it. Well, like every method of incremental control, it doesn’t stop where it begins; it just keeps gaining speed as it heads down the proverbial slippery slope.

So here we go – the BBC is reporting on “How facial recognition could replace train tickets.”

A facial recognition system designed to replace the need for tickets on trains is being tested in the UK.

An early version that uses two near-infrared lights to help a single camera determine texture and orientation of each pixel it captures was shown to BBC Click.

The system, being developed by the Bristol Robotics Lab, is being partly funded by government and the private sector.

Researchers told the programme that they believe it will successfully identify passengers without the need for them to stop walking and could replace ticket gates.

How Long Before “Islamophobia” Becomes A Criminal Offense Requiring Imprisonment?

by Tim Brown, Freedom OutPost:

You may think that’s a ridiculous question. The United States would never imprison people for criticizing Islam, would it? After all, we have the First Amendment!

Sure. But consider this. The whole world, East, West, North South, agrees that insulting Christianity and Judaism is a courageous act, and often even an artistic one, to be awarded by applause from the intelligentsia, and often with awards, honors, and cash grants. The whole world also agrees that insulting Islam, even including correct analysis of how jihadis use the texts and teachings of Islam to justify violence and supremacism, is a heinous crime that must be punished. In the West, it is punished by means of deplatforming, denial of service by social media giants and credit card corporations, and vilification in the most lurid of terms in the mainstream press.

Venezuelan COPS Kidnapped Pro Athlete’s Elderly Mom and Held Her For Ransom…and This ISN’T Unusual

by J.G. Martinez D, The Organic Prepper:

Our state has failed in many ways. There is no security, there is no a food production system, and the economy collapsed a long time ago. Under these conditions, anyone with the smallest bit of power will do everything they can to keep their life quality. Stealing medicines in the shipments in Customs, openly stealing from law-abiding citizens, taking their cellphones, or anything that could be exchanged for some food, alcohol, or other stuff. This is the current situation here, and I am not sweetening anything.

Some professional athletes come from poor barrios, like El Gato Galarraga, great Omar Vizquel, basketball player Gabriel Estaba, and many from other countries, too. The athletes leave it all behind, but often, their elders refuse to leave their house, friends, and the lifestyle they have enjoyed, They don’t want to move to some other place and leave everything and everyone behind. It makes sense – it’s the place they have called home an entire life. This being said, we have to mention that most of the policemen, military, and other organizations come as well from humble neighborhoods

You may have heard that recently in Venezuela, the mother of Pittsburg Pirate’s baseball player Elías Díaz, was kidnapped.

This old lady was forced to get into an SUV by four armed men, in broad daylight, at 9 AM. I mean, FOUR trained grown-up men to kidnap a granny, is that not a little bit of overkill?

Criminals are getting increasingly organized and disciplined

I have noticed that criminals are getting increasingly organized and disciplined. They roam in numbers. They are packs. They surround their prey. Some of them will get close to engage with their victim while another one is hidden nearby. Any suspicious move, and our hero is history. The lone attacker hardly exists any longer.

Even the street robbers now use a team: two on each motorcycle. They choose their victim, usually a shiny, luxury Japanese SUV, and chase it. The guy in the backseat is packing heat, and the driver usually has a backup. Their modus operandi is increasingly going blitzkrieg style: they move fast, and they take no  cowpie from anyone. They are not afraid to shoot an unarmed person because the chance of getting away unharmed and unpunished is about 90%.

In a devastated economy, they know some people earns lots of money in foreign currency. This is a gold mine for the criminal organizations. So for the professional athletes, these guys’ faces are all over the international TV´s sport channels. This is enough motivation for some greedy, dirty personnel to decide to go grandmother´s hunting, as sad as it sounds. And let´s be honest, people have commited crimes for much less than these morons expected to get out of Elias’s pockets. The guy is famous.

This has been like this for quite some time; but the trend, with the rip of the social fabric, has just spiked up.  This old lady used to sit in front of her house, to chat with her friends and neighbors, in the fresh breeze of the first hours of the evening. An easy target for someone with training, don’t you think?

And that’s the scariest part about this crime…

We have talked before about how it is predictable that cops WILL go rogue when the SHTF.

And that is what is so scary about Elias’s mom’s kidnapping. These guys were policemen. With a gun and a license provided by the State to protect grannies, kids, moms, and dads. There were four of them, and two civillians.

Once the lady was sitting on her front porch, the neighbor, who obviously was being paid to watch her, called the officers’ team. There were 3 other thugs involved, and it is believed that they were the team that looked after the granny in the abandoned house she was kept in.

They kept the old lady in a far away abandoned country cottage. She had just an electric fan and a mattress. No clean clothing, no nightdress for sleeping comfort. Two meals a day for a lady over 70 years old. The morality and respect for elders of this gang just went down the toilet.

Before the granny was rescued, 5 officers of the “Bolivarian” police of the Zulia state were under detention, along with the neighbor. These rogue officers have been given a choice: the wall, or the rope.

It is important to understand this: we have a separated task force, a scientific police, just like your CSI. It is called the CICPC, and they are professionals who are highly trained overseas (in the USA and Europe). In many cases, they are trustworthy and straight officers. Rebel pilot Oscar Perez, illegally killed by armed militias last January because of rebellion against the state, was a member of this task force. This force is much better trained and equipped than the State Police, and they have, among all the institutions, the best reputation, particularly after a group them took over a NGs post, took their weapons but respected their lives and integrity. They did not even shoot one single bullet and took 15 NGs prisoners. The State Police and the NG are two of the dirtiest organizations in the entire country.

A few lessons from this event

As awful as this is, there are a few things you can learn from the situation.

  • First lesson: Don’t allow anyone to discover your real financial status. Go grey.
  • Second lesson: Don’t get used to routines. Do you have bowling nights on Thursday? Go on another night, for example.
  • Third lesson: Give your loved ones some means to be tracked. A small GPS locator device with a $10 prepaid chip inside Granny’s bra would have saved a lot of suffering and grey hair for poor Elias and his mom. And money, because that rescue perhaps needed some oil to get some nuts loose first, trust me.
  • Fourth lesson: Just because they are police officers doesn’t mean they are trustworthy.

It is not something that can only happen in Venezuela. I hope that some readers have some tours in Middle East and can bear witness that this is something that happens in other countries too, and not just to grannies, but to other innocent and defenseless members of the families. In 2011 the baseball player Wilson Ramos (Washington Nationals) was kidnapped too.

Why do these kinds of things happen?

Let’s see.

The government forbids access to foreign currency, destroyed our own currency and destroyed our economy. There are a lot of bad guys out there willing to do whatever they think is safe for them to get their paws in someone else’s pocket.

INSIDE GOOGLE’S EFFORT TO DEVELOP A CENSORED SEARCH ENGINE IN CHINA

by Ryan Gallagher, The Intercept:

GOOGLE ANALYZED SEARCH terms entered into a Beijing-based website to help develop blacklists for a censored search engine it has been planning to launch in China, according to confidential documents seen by The Intercept.

Engineers working on the censorship sampled search queries from 265.com, a Chinese-language web directory service owned by Google.

Unlike Google.com and other Google services, such as YouTube, 265.com is not blocked in China by the country’s so-called Great Firewall, which restricts access to websites deemed undesirable by the ruling Communist Party regime.

Bilderberg Elites Planned Free Speech Crackdown Prior to Trump Win, Internet ID Next Step

by Daniel Taylor, Activist Post:

In June of 2016, prior to the current social media purge, Bilderberg elites discussed implementing an Internet ID in Dresden, Germany.

The Bilderberg group has served as a secretive gathering of world elites for decades. Decisions made at the meetings are often implemented by attendees working to establish a world order.

Paul Joseph Watson reported on the 2016 meeting, “According to our source, the creation of a virtual passport that web users will need to obtain before they can use many Internet services is high on the agenda.”

WATCH: ‘You Ain’t Seen Excessive Force Yet!’: Cops Restrain Man and Then Torture Him

by Matt Agorist, The Free Thought Project:

St. Paul, MN — When 24-year-old Terrell Wilson was arrested on April 13, 2016, he never thought an accusation of swiping someone’s cellphone at a night club would end up with him being held down by a half dozen officers—and savagely tortured—while in handcuffs. But that is exactly what happened. Now, after three years, the disturbing video has been released and the taxpayers, not the cop who did most of the torturing, are being held liable.

COMING: DIET CONTROL AND SCATOLOGICAL MONITORING

by Joseph P. Farrell, Giza Death Star:

Yes, you read that headline entirely correctly. Not content to control every other aspect of your life, the proverbial “They” also want to control your diet, what you eat, and monitor whether or not your sticking to your diet by monitoring your poop. Consider it Mr. Globaloney’s version of a colonoscopy, only it will be a daily affair(found and shared by Mr. H.B.):

The end of food freedom? Future food services may control what you eat by stocking food prescribed by doctors via smart appliances

And in case you think I made up the headline and my opening summary of the latest “bright idea” to come from the technocracy, consider this:
