Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk implored Trump supporters to vote at Saturday’s rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, saying, “This will be the last election” if they do not.
After Trump invited him on stage to speak, Musk declared that Trump must win the election to “preserve the Constitution” and “democracy” before calling on those at the rally and watching around the country to register to vote.

The $1.2 trillion law earmarked over $42 billion to provide internet access in unserved, mostly rural areas, with Biden once describing the initiative as “not unlike what Roosevelt did with electricity.” However, not a single project funded by the initiative has broken ground, with federal subsidies not expected to reach projects until 2025, largely due to a slew of regulatory hurdles, such as requirements for internet providers to participate in green initiatives and employ unionized workforces.

In 1759, Scotsman Adam Smith, who is widely regarded as the world’s first true economist, published his first great work, The Theory of Moral Sentiments. In it, he postulated that all social evolution can be attributed to “individual human action,” as opposed to “individual human design.”
By this, he meant that whatever understanding worked well between any two people was likely to lead to progress. The reason for this was that such agreements would, of necessity, be based upon “trust and empathy.”
He believed that, if mankind were left alone to sort out all commerce and other interaction on their own, using truth and empathy, they’d succeed at moving the society forward.

Conspiracy theories are circulating the web about what really happened with Hurricane Helene and how it is allowing the federal government to seize valuable land underneath which are large deposits of valuable minerals.
Some analysts say there was unusual atmospheric activity during Helene’s track that appears to have produced such a high voltage that something was able to “push” it towards the areas that got hit the hardest. The reason could have to do with all those valuable minerals.
