Former President Donald Trump said Thursday during a speech on anti-Semitism that if he loses the election “the Jewish people would really have a lot to do with that.”
“With all I have done for Israel, I received only 24 percent of the Jewish vote,” Trump told the Jewish gathering hosted by Israeli-American GOP megadonor Miriam Adelson. “I really haven’t been treated very well, but it’s the story of my life.”
“I’m at 40% [in the polls for Jewish support], that means you got 60% voting for somebody that hates Israel,” Trump said. “It’s only because the Democrat[s] hold a curse on you. You can’t let this happen. 40% is not acceptable because we have an election to win.”
