If you’re familiar with CE’s content, you may have noticed that we frequently refer to the shadow government, the deep state, the cabal, the Illuminati, and the elite. We often use these words synonymously, though some of these terms have slightly different meanings.
If you’re unfamiliar with the true meanings of these terms, then this article is for you! This article will examine what the shadow government is, what people and which companies fall within it, and how they gained so much control over the U.S. government and society in general.

A high-ranking staffer from the Obama campaign in 2012 has come forward with massive revelations exposing an alleged partisan bias on Facebook’s behalf which paved the way for special privileges granted to the Obama campaign by the social media giant—up to and including the Obama campaign receiving millions of people’s information from Facebook.
Carol Davidsen worked as the media director at Obama for America during the re-election campaign in 2012. She was responsible for maintaining a relationship with potential voters and she used Facebook to do it. However, it wasn’t just creating a page and attracting followers, Davidsen was given inside access because Facebook favored Obama which allowed the campaign to receive unprecedented data on millions of users.
“Facebook was surprised we were able to suck out the whole social graph, but they didn’t stop us once they realized that was what we were doing,” wrote Davidsen.

Most Americans do not know and could care less their leadership has sold them up the river. However, for those old-fashioned folks in the United States who are unaware Washington has set out to create a “New America” custom built for the elites, here’s a primer for understanding just how bad our situation is.
A stunning Wikipedia page begins; “New America, formerly the New America Foundation, is a non-partisan, nonprofit think tank in the United States.” And with this the organization created by Ted Halstead, Sherle Schwenninger, Michael Lind, and Walter Russell Mead back in 1999, characterizes itself by its mission statement, which is:
“Renewing America by continuing the quest to realize our nation’s highest ideals, honestly confronting the challenges caused by rapid technological and social change and seizing the opportunities those changes create.”

Where’s the panicked rush to “delete” accounts?
Things at Facebook came to a head, following the disclosure that personal data from 50 million of its users had been given to a sordid outfit in the UK, Cambridge Analytica, whose business model is to manipulate elections by hook or crook around the world, and which is now getting vivisected by UK and US authorities.
The infamous “person familiar with the matter” told Bloomberg that the Federal Trade Commission has opened an investigation into whether Facebook violated a consent decree dating back to 2011, when Facebook settled similar allegations – giving user data to third parties without user’s knowledge or consent. Civilian sources told Syrian state media Monday that three US helicopters had evacuated suspected Daesh (ISIS) commanders from northeast Syria.
Speaking to SANA, the sources said that the military helicopters had landed in an area between the villages of al-Jissi and Kalu, 2 km south of the Tal Hamis township in the Qamishli District of al-Hasakah Governate.
From there, servicemen accompanied four persons from a house believed to contain Daesh* leaders of Iraqi nationality to the helicopters, which then evacuated them from the area to an unknown destination.

Much of the attention in the financial markets this week will be focused on the Federal Reserve’s upcoming meeting on Wednesday. Where it’s widely assumed that the Fed will raise its short-term interest rate target by 25 basis points.
So why is this particular meeting so interesting?
Primarily because the market’s reaction will likely offer valuable insight into how the next stage of the current bubble cycle unfolds.
Interest rates on the benchmark 10-year U.S. treasury have risen from approximately 2% in September of 2017 to the current level of 2.85%. Largely in response to the Fed’s gradual increase in short-term interest rates and their unwinding of the balance sheet (which at least according to data on the Fed’s website does appear to actually be occurring).

Senator Bernie Sanders joined students participating in a national walkout to protest gun violence outside the Capitol in Washington, D.C surrounded by armed police as he delivered a hypocritical speech calling for the “courage to take out the NRA” and common sense gun control in response to the Parkland high school attack, Newsweek reported.
Sanders live streamed his speech on his Facebook page, which towards the middle featured him moving through the crowd of cheering students and shaking their hands. As Sanders traveled through the protesters chanting for gun control, he was accompanied by three heavily armed Capitol police officers there to escort him through the students.
For the past two years, the long-running narrative, at least that promulgated by the mainstream media which continues to “explain away” Hillary Clinton’s loss to Donald Trump, is that Americans had fallen for a massive, long-running fake news scam (in part aided and abetted by the likes of Facebook), which boosted Trump’s popularity at the expense of Hillary’s as part of some giant “Russian collusion” conspiracy theory between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin (which Mueller was supposed to uncover, but has instead shifted to investigating obstruction, seemingly unable to find anything).
But what if that entire narrative is dead wrong: what if Americans have become so skeptical in the government process and structure, they never needed a “fake news” boost to vote for an establishment outsider?

Conservative radio host and best-selling author Mark Levin joined Sean Hannity on Monday night to discuss Andrew McCabe’s firing on Friday.
Levin blasted Lindsey Graham and Marco Rubio for crying about the McCabe losing his pension. “He’s not losing his pension!”
The Great One then went on a tirade against Comey, McCabe, Samantha Power, Clapper, Brennan and Susan Rice.

What prompted former CIA Director John Brennan on Saturday to accuse President Donald Trump of “moral turpitude” and to predict, with an alliterative flourish, that Trump will end up “as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history”? The answer shines through the next sentence in Brennan’s threatening tweet: “You may scapegoat Andy McCabe [former FBI Deputy Director fired Friday night] but you will not destroy America…America will triumph over you.”
It is easy to see why Brennan lost it. The Attorney General fired McCabe, denying him full retirement benefits, because McCabe “had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor — including under oath — on multiple occasions.” There but for the grace of God go I, Brennan must have thought, whose stock in trade has been unauthorized disclosures.
