I’ve had about all I can take from conservatives lambasting Donald Trump for his alleged “terrible performance” during the ABC snare event. First of all, let’s define win and lose. If it’s just entertainment and amusement you want, okay, I see where you’re coming from. Kamala may have won the game. But if it’s truth and substance you’re after, Kamala did not win the debate!
After listening to the many arguments, positive and negative, from both sides of the aisle, my ire grew to the point that I had to speak up. Call it a Christian rebel’s stance if you like, but I must declare that the sum-total effect of that ABC charade was another battle won in the war to save America. Here’s my reasoning.

The Russian government has just taken a significant step in bypassing global sanctions by passing new laws to allow businesses to use Bitcoin for international trade payments.
Russian lawmakers passed a bill on Tuesday that will allow businesses to use cryptocurrencies in international trade.
The move is part of Russia’s efforts to skirt Western sanctions imposed after the nation’s invasion of Ukraine.
The law is expected to go into force in September.

The Australian Senate voted against an inquiry into the causes of the nation’s high excess mortality today. This is the third time the Senate has voted against investigating excess deaths, after rejecting two previous motions last year.
Australia has recorded more deaths than expected in the past several years, with some states experiencing up to 17% excess mortality. This trend is ongoing, with the latest reporting from the ABS estimating 12,377 excess deaths for the first three quarters of 2023, 9.9% above the expected baseline.
