We keep seeing these passive-aggressive, and not so passively aggressive, officers acting out and throwing childish tantrums of resistance to the President that the people of the United States elected. It’s inconceivable to those of us from the military who won the Cold War; we stayed the hell out of politics. Somehow, they must have missed that civilian control block of instruction; non-partisanship is a vital principle of our officer corps.

Now “science” says it’s “misinformation” to claim that there are two sexes.
It is the Scientific American that has published an explanation about how it’s wrong to use “scientific misinformation” to “disenfranchise trans people and other marginalized groups.”

California’s Math Framework (CMF) has been adopted in most of the state’s 950 school districts. And the one person most responsible for writing and pushing the framework, Jo Boaler, has been the target of a 100-page anonymous complaint that she misrepresented dozens of citations that underpin her research.
The CMF is a series of policy and curriculum “suggestions” designed to bring “equity” to the math scores of minority students.

Back in my misspent youth I was a headhunter (Boo Hiss!), you know, one step up from the bottom of the pond Estate Agents. Headhunters do, however, provide a necessary service as very few executives have the time or the network to identify possible hires and, even if they do, it is often inappropriate to approach them directly. When LinkedIn was launched, to say I was an early fan would have been an understatement. I signed up – as it happens I am in the first 700,000 users of LinkedIn, which in the past this was a ‘thing to have’ because you’d get thrown nice badges and articles etc. rewarding your foresight and early adoption.

A poll conducted in the wake of probably the worst week of his Presidency has found that a whopping 86 percent of Americans do not feel Joe Biden is in good enough shape to serve another term.
The poll by ABC News/Ipsos was carried out Saturday, after the Special Counsel report that described Biden as “an elderly man with a poor memory,” and after he ended up angrily yelling at reporters for asking questions about the issue.
