“How dare you? You have stolen my dreams and my childhood!” insisted teenage climate activist Greta Thunberg at the United Nations. “We are in the beginning of a mass extinction!”
Many people say that we’re destroying the Earth.
It all sounds so scary.
But I’ve been a consumer reporter for years, and I’ve covered so many scares: plague, famine, overpopulation, SARS, West Nile virus, bird flu, radiation from cellphones, flesh-eating bacteria, killer bees, etc. The list of terrible things that were going to get us is very long.
Mickey Mouse and Dumbledore from Harry Potter Among the 11,000 “Scientists” Who Warned About an Impending “Climate Emergency” — Turns Out, There Was No Study and They Are Just “11,000 Random People”
from Humans Are Free:
Scientific “consensus” is a popular buzzword commonly used by climate fanatics to “prove” that man-made climate change is a real thing. But is there really even a consensus as these hysterics claim? Not even close.
As it turns out, the climate lobby loves to pull its “facts” right out of thin air, including the newly minted fiction that “More than 11,000 scientists declare ‘climate emergency.’” While this regurgitated mainstream media headline is pretty cut and dry, the claim it makes is patently false, we’ve now learned.
Just like the Greta Thunberg hoax, the notion that more than 11,000 actual scientists are suddenly lamenting an impending “climate emergency” has absolutely no basis in reality.
by James Delingpole, Breitbart:
This month marks the tenth anniversary of Climategate — the biggest scandal in the brief, ignominious history of “climate science”. So naturally, the left-wing media has commemorated the occasion with a series of articles and a documentary which could all have been titled: ‘Move along, nothing to see here.’
The most egregious offender was a BBC4 documentary, Climategate: Science of a Scandal.
from Watts Up With That:
It’s because Climate Change!
“The further society drifts from truth, the more it will hate those who speak it.”
Did you catch the usual gullible mainstream media (MSM) “news” outlets pushing the recent climate alarmism, coming from 11,000 so-called and supposedly knowledgeable scientists? Naturally, these platforms were particularly keen to propel the propaganda, with their usual blusterous fanfare of hot air and evocative imagery masquerading as journalism. ‘Climate Crisis’ and ‘Climate Emergency’ being the alarmist phrases. For example, our very own biased, £5 Billion organisation of left-wing agitprop BBC ran the unequivocal headline,“Climate change: ‘Clear and unequivocal’ emergency, say scientists”. Notice also the emotive imagery to nicely round off their ‘fake news’:
What is a good way for the Fed to deflect attention from the fact that after a decade of liquidity injections it has created the world’s largest asset bubble? Why point to another, even bigger – in its view – threat. And with green bonds, unlimited fiscal deficits and MMT all the rage (if not today, then soon), what better bogeyman for the Fed to wave in front of the public than the hottest topic, so to speak, of the day: climate change.
Speaking at the GARP Global Risk Forum, NY Fed executive vice president Kevin Stiroh warned in his prepared remarks, that climate change – not, say, asset bubbles created by his employer – is a major threat that risk managers can’t ignore.

From the “there’s no quality control in climate science” department comes this laughable revelation, via the Australian:
Scientists’ petition on climate crisis blocked over fake signatories
Dozens of signatories including Mickey Mouse and Harry Potter headmaster Albus Dumbledore from Hogwarts have been removed from an Alliance of World Scientists declaration of a “climate emergency”.
Access to the 11,000 name-petition that accompanied a statement of concern published in BioScience on Tuesday was blocked on Thursday.
Over 40 years ago, scientists from 50 nations pivoted on a longstanding “global cooling” thesis that was going to blanket the earth in ice, and instead adopted what was then called the “CO2-climate problem” which would lead to theories on global warming, rising tides and economic catastrophe.
“Now, four decades later, a larger group of scientists is sounding another, much more urgent alarm,” according to Bloomberg.
by Ryan Saavedra, Daily Wire:
The Trump administration announced on Monday that it was officially withdrawing from the Paris Climate Accord, with the withdrawal officially set to be completed one year from now.
“President Trump made the decision to withdraw from the Paris Agreement because of the unfair economic burden imposed on American workers, businesses, and taxpayers by U.S. pledges made under the Agreement,” Secretary of State Mike Pompeo wrote in a statement. “The United States has reduced all types of emissions, even as we grow our economy and ensure our citizens’ access to affordable energy.”
