It’s official now: Trump says he’s been indicted. We should have been bracing for it ever since the Bragg indictment over the Stormy Daniels payments. If they can stretch the legalese as they did in that case, Trump will be screwed in all legal actions he’s currently facing, which is part of the Democrats’ plan. It’s to keep this man and the presumptive Republican nominee, as of now, entangled in endless legal drama and render the GOP incapable of effectively campaigning across the board. You can’t do that when your presidential nominee is facing multiple trials.

Scientists from Johns Hopkins University and Lund University examined almost 20,000 studies on measures taken to protect populations against Covid across the world.
Their findings suggest that lockdowns in response to the first wave of the pandemic, when compared with less strict policies adopted by the likes of Sweden, prevented as few as 1,700 deaths in England and Wales. In an average week there are around 11,000 deaths in England and Wales.

Federal prosecutors have notified Donald Trump’s lawyers that he’s a target of their investigation into his handling of classified documents after the end of his term in office, The New York Times, Politico and other outlets reported Wednesday evening.
The issuance of a so-called target letter often signals that an investigation is nearly complete and that the filing of criminal charges is imminent. A “target” is an individual whom federal prosecutors determine to be linked to a crime via substantial evidence.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has aided a Ukrainian intelligence effort to censor social media users and obtain their personal information, leaked emails reveal.
In March 2022, an FBI Special Agent sent Twitter a list of accounts on behalf of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Ukraine’s main intelligence agency. The accounts, the FBI wrote, “are suspected by the SBU in spreading fear and disinformation.” In an attached memo, the SBU asked Twitter to remove the accounts and hand over their user data.
