The war to destroy Alex Jones, Part One

by Jon Rappoport, No More Fake News:

Rivers of elite revenge are flowing.

THEY are out to get him and drive him into oblivion.

He, and his huge website, Infowars, stand as a threat to the empire they are building, where free speech is a thing of the past and only correct speech that supports THEIR objectives is permitted.

Monday, the coordinated war against Alex Jones escalated along several fronts, within a space of about 12 hours, according to infowars reporter Paul Watson:

CNBC:

FACEBOOK: FARRAKHAN’S ANTI-SEMITIC CONSPIRACY THEORIES DON’T VIOLATE ‘HATE SPEECH’ RULES

by Peter Hasson, The Daily Caller:

Facebook has allowed Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan to espouse anti-Semitic conspiracy theories on its platform

Facebook deleted right-wing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones’ page on Monday for violating rules against hate speech

Videos on Farrakhan’s page show him accusing Jews of secretly controlling government agencies and “weaponizing” marijuana to “feminize” black men

Facebook Wants Your Bank Info, Corporations Push Financial Blacklist Gun Control

by Awr Hawkins, Breitbart:

Facebook is asking banks to share customer’s financial information in a climate where corporate America is blacklisting gun manufacturers and businesses or groups that support the Second Amendment.

On March 23, 2018, Breitbart News reported Citibank’s new corporate gun controls which bar gun store customers from selling “high-capacity” magazines and require those same stores to refuse long gun sales to 18 to 20-year-old Americans, even though it is legal to sell long guns to 18 to 20-year-olds.

On March 30, 2018, Breitbart News reported that Interfaith Center on Corporate Responsibility (ICCR), which has $634 billion in assets, joined the gun control push by urging investors to cut ties with the NRA.

WATCH: Man on a Tractor Asks Cops to See a Warrant, So They Choke Him to Death

by Matt Agorist, The Free Thought Project:

When a man asked police to see the warrant they claimed to have, instead of showing it to him, they choked him to death on video.

Marksville, LA — Last year, Armando Frank was sitting on his tractor when he was approached by police who were going to serve him a warrant for alleged trespassing. When Frank asked to see the warrant — which the cops never produced — he was tasered, choked, pulled from his tractor and killed. In the attack caught on video, never once did Frank try to hurt the officers.

As the police body camera video shows, within just a few moments of confronting Frank, officers grow agitated with his passive resistance. Frank is merely asking to see the warrant the officers claim to have, but they do not produce it, nor did they give him any reason for the arrest.

Twitter Silences Libertarian Accounts

by Kurt Nimmo, Kurt Nimmo Blog:

On the day after the coordinated takedown of Alex Jones, the social media behemoth Twitter banned Peter Van Buren and Daniel McAdams. Antiwar.com podcaster Scott Horton was also suspended.

Van Buren is a State Department whistleblower. McAdams is the Executive Director of the Ron Paul Institute for Peace and Prosperity.

The crime? Arguing with Jonathan M. Katz, a corporate media journalist. Katz ratted out McAdams and Van Buren to the Twitter thought police. Katz now works for a George Soros NGO.

Institutionalizing Intolerance: Bullies Win, Freedom Suffers When We Can’t Agree to Disagree

by John W. Whitehead, Rutherford Institute:

“Whoever would overthrow the liberty of a nation must begin by subduing the freeness of speech.” ― Benjamin Franklin

What a mess.

As America has become ever more polarized, and those polarized factions have become more militant and less inclined to listen to—or even allow for the existence of—other viewpoints, we are fast becoming a nation of people who just can’t get along.

Here’s the thing: if Americans don’t learn how to get along—at the very least, agreeing to disagree and respecting each other’s right to subscribe to beliefs and opinions that may be offensive, hateful, intolerant or merely different—then we’re going to soon find that we have no rights whatsoever (to speak, assemble, agree, disagree, protest, opt in, opt out, or forge our own paths as individuals).

Apple, Google, Youtube, Facebook, Twitter Subvert the US Constitution, Free Speech, and American Liberty

by Paul Craig Roberts, Paul Craig Roberts:

The coordinated attack on widely watched Info Wars host Alex Jones by Apple, Facebook, Google/Youtube, and Spotify is all the proof that we need that the total failure to enforce America’s anti-trust laws has produced unaccountably powerful firms that are able to exercise far more censorship, not only in America but also abroad among Washington’s vassal states, than the Nazi Gestapo or Stalin’s NKVD were ever able to achieve.

Recently the progressive Rob Kall and I discussed on his show the implications of a trillion dollar company, which Apple now is. A day or two afterward, Rob Kall wrote an article on his website OpEdNews in which he made a case that a trillion dollar company had too much power for our continuation as a free people. I agree with him. Only 16 countries out of 195 countries in the world, a mere 0.08 percent, have a GDP equal to or larger than one trillion dollars.

Senate Democrats Are Circulating Plans for Government Takeover of the Internet: Reason Roundup

by Elizabeth Nolan Brown, Reason:

All your base are belong to us. A leaked memo circulating among Senate Democrats contains a host of bonkers authoritarian proposals for regulating digital platforms, purportedly as a way to get tough on Russian bots and fake news. To save American trust in “our institutions, democracy, free press, and markets,” it suggests, we need unprecedented and undemocratic government intervention into online press and markets, including “comprehensive (GDPR-like) data protection legislation” of the sort enacted in the E.U.

Now That Facebook, YouTube And Apple Have Come For Alex Jones, Now They Will Start Coming After The Rest Of Us

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:

August 6th was one of darkest days in the history of the Internet.  When I learned that Facebook, YouTube, Apple, Spotify, Pinterest and others had colluded to take down content from Alex Jones all on the same day, I knew exactly what was happening.  They timed their attack so that it would hit the press at the beginning of the weekly news cycle on Monday so that their purge would have maximum societal impact.  And the fact that there was such overt collusion was obviously meant to send a message.  We were supposed to understand that if they can do this to Alex Jones, they can do it to any of us, and so we better shut up and fall in line.  I can’t even begin to tell you how sick I feel right now.  The big tech giants have made it abundantly clear how they feel about all of us, and there is no future for alternative points of view on any of their platforms.
