Steven Bannon, an adviser to President Donald Trump during his first term in office, just got out of a short prison term – sent there by Democrats in Congress who demanded he provide to them information about the president and his comments around the time of the Jan. 6, 2021, protest-turned-riot at the U.S. Capitol.
The information he had was covered at the time by presidential privilege, but it made no difference to the partisan committee set up by ex-House Speaker Nancy Pelosi which tried to find every way it could to blame Trump for that vandalism that day.

Mercedes-Benz is the latest automaker to announce today that they are adopting Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS), allowing their Electric Vehicles (EVs) to be charged at Tesla’s charging stations.
Mercedes joins Ford, GM, Rivian, Volvo and Polestar in recent days who have all announced that they are turning to the North American Charging Standard that Tesla has developed.
Mercedes-Benz is the latest automaker to adopt Tesla’s North American Charging Standard (NACS). Starting in 2024 Mercedes EVs will gain access to Tesla’s Supercharger network in North America.

Here’s a breakdown of this week’s gold and silver markets.
In European trading this morning, gold was $1918, unchanged from last Friday’s close after testing the $1900 level yesterday. Silver was $23.05, down 3 cents, after testing $22.30. Comex volumes in gold were moderately healthy, and they picked up in silver yesterday on the sell-off.

Fox News reported that a person familiar with the matter said the source has been “consistently reviewed by the FBI” and has been “found to be highly credible.”
