Much of the country is dealing with severe cold and snow as I write this. In Virginia, we were hit with close to a foot or so of snow, but the sleet and freezing rain that fell for hours, and coated the top of it, really made things precarious. It’s like walking on a frozen pond, only every few steps your boot caves through to the ground.
