By late February 2021, a group of experts called Brighton Collaboration released a paper, which was published in Vaccine, clearly defining Vaccine-Associated Enhanced Disease (VAED), which is a more severe clinical presentation of a disease in a person vaccinated against that disease than would normally be seen in an unvaccinated person. Yet, Pfizer, public health, and media spokespeople only referred to post-COVID-vaccination COVID-19 infections as “breakthrough cases” — i.e., normal, not more severe, COVID infections — without explaining the possibility of VAED in such cases. Not explaining VAED kept the public in the dark about how receiving initial and additional COVID vaccine doses may cause worse COVID illness than remaining unvaccinated.

The cries are getting louder for a so-called ceasefire with the Israeli/Gaza war that started October 7th. There is more proof coming out that Hamas is using hospitals and other civilian areas to conduct war while holding Israeli hostages. That does not seem to matter much to the people demanding the killing be stopped. Even the UN, which is notoriously against everything Israel, has passed a resolution demanding a ceasefire in Gaza. Meanwhile, reports fighting on the Israel/Lebanon border with Hezbollah is at a point not seen in nearly two decades. Hezbollah is backed by Iran and is much better trained and equipped than Hamas in the south. Is this the calm before the WWIII storm or will the ceasefire put an end to the fighting?

The internet is about to change. In many countries, there’s currently a coordinated legislative push to effectively outlaw encryption of user uploaded content under the guise of protecting children. This means websites or internet services (messaging apps, email, etc.) could be held criminally or civilly liable if someone used it to upload abusive material. If these bills become law, people like myself who help supply private communication services could be penalized or put into prison for simply protecting the privacy of our users. In fact, anyone who runs a website with user-uploaded content could be punished the same way. In today’s article, I’ll show you why these bills not only fail at protecting children, but also put the internet as we know it in jeopardy, as well as why we should question the organizations behind the push.

Slade Sohmer, former editor of The Recount, bragged in private text messages about nearly tricking a 14-year old boy into having sex in a public restroom. Following his arrest, police found evidence that Sohmer posed online as a teenage girl, offering to meet and engage in sexual intercourse with underage boys. Sohmer even admitted to attending the meeting he had set up, claiming the teen boy was “horny” and “bulging” because he thought he was meeting a girl. Sohmer says he did not go through with his plan to rape the child, claiming “I chickened out.”

The war in Gaza is going into the history books for setting precedents for many things. But perhaps it might not be such a watermark which too many journalists will remind you about, but fake news on a whole new scale which we haven’t seen before, will be one of them.
How do westerners who watch their evening news take our mainstream media journalist in Israel seriously? Firstly, most of them aren’t even inside Gaza but comfortably ‘embedded’ with Israel’s IDF usually in lux accommodation which has been arranged for them, while IDF propagandists feed them nuggets of prepared fake news during the day while they dine as guests of the army. Our western journalists are so embedded that what they are presenting is not even news each night but a narrative which they have been hearing all day.
