The US Constitution is perhaps the most significant historical and governmental document in a millennia. It established the modern conception of the western Republic, along with true representative government designed to answer to the people rather than rule over the people.
The Bill of Rights outlined clear restrictions on federal and state powers to legislate away the inherent and God given freedoms of the citizenry; an accomplishment which had been attempted in the past but was never truly realized until the war for independence and the creation of the United States. Until that moment, the idea that common men answer to authority and authority answers to no one was the accepted norm.

James Comey ‘86 47’ Case Prosecutor Resigns.

WHAT HAPPENED: Assistant U.S. Attorney Matthew Petracca, who had been handling the Justice Department’s criminal case against former FBI Director James Comey, has stepped down, according to a court filing. Petracca will be replaced by Timothy Severo as the case moves forward in the Eastern District of North Carolina. The change was not explained in court filings.
📺 DETAIL: Comey faces two federal charges tied to an Instagram post showing seashells arranged to read “86 47,” which prosecutors contend amounted to a threat against President Donald J. Trump. “86” means to remove or kill in hospitality and mob slang; Trump became the 47th U.S. President in 2025. The Justice Department argues that the phrase carried an implied call for violence. Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche and FBI Director Kash Patel have defended the prosecution, saying the case reflects a commitment to enforcing laws against threats to public officials.

A coalition of landlords is taking Mayor Zohran Mamdani to court after the city imposed a two-year rent freeze on nearly 1 million rent-stabilized apartments. Zohran’s appointees rigged the process.
According to the rules, the Rent Guidelines Board is supposed to be independent. Instead, it has become a rubber stamp for Zohran’s campaign promise.
