The Donors of Anti-Trump ‘Resistance’ PAC Uncovered

0

by Warner Todd Huston, Breitbart:

The secret group of left-wing foundations and millionaire donors to an anti-Trump “resistance” group has been revealed to include the left-wing W.K. Kellogg Foundation, according to a report.

The donors to the Center for Community Change Action, a group that has funded direct attacks on the Trump administration, were revealed in a new report by the Washington Free Beacon.

The Beacon was able to obtain the anti-Trump organization’s 2015 tax documents that showed major donations from a handful of high-dollar foundations such as the W.K. Kellogg Foundation and the Ford Foundation.

Indeed, the largest donation came from the far-left Kellogg Foundation which gave an incredible $3,000,000, the report states.

With a donation of $2,350,000, the Ford Foundation (not affiliated with the Ford Motor Co.) gave nearly as much, the documents reveal.

Anti-American billionaire George Soros also jumped into the game with a $1,750,000 donation from his Open Society Foundations.

Some of the other foundations that donated to the anti-Trump group include the following:

  • $524,500 from the California Endowment
  • $515,000 from the Marquerite Casey Foundation
  • $505,100 from Fidelity Charitable Gift
  • $316,000 from National Immigration Law Center
  • $1,750,000 from the Hillary Clinton affiliated Every Citizen Counts
  • $1,475,000 from another Soros group named the Open Society Policy Center
  • $150,000 from government workers union the SEIU

In yet another connection to anti-American George Soros, the executive director of the Center for Community Change, Deepak Bhargava, sits on the advisory board of Soros’s Open Society Foundation.

VIDEO: Las Vegas Shooting From 64th Floor Of Mandalay Bay

As the American people learn more about the tragic shooting in Las Vegas, more questions arise about what really happened.

by Jacob Engels, Central Florida Post:

The past 24 hours have been immensely depressing and shocking, from the Las Vegas shooting, to the news of a do not resuscitate order on an ailing Tom Petty.

While we know most of the story about what happened to Petty, thousands of unanswered questions remain about what actually transpired before, during, and after the shooting.

With the death toll climbing past 50 and hundreds injured, America is now turning their focus on the nitty gritty. The alleged shooter, 64-year old Stephen Paddock, was at onetime a Central Florida resident, with several family members still living in the state.

He was a wealthy former accountant with several homes, and a penchant for high stakes gambling according to his brother. Paddock was found dead in his 32nd floor hotel room in Mandalay Bay, after SWAT used a controlled explosive to enter.

uthorities are telling us that Paddock acted alone, and that at this point, no other people are believed to be involved in actually shooting the concertgoers of the Harvest Music Festival.

According to our sources, and other reports, we believe there is much more to the story, including what motivated Paddock (possible ties to Antifa, radical left-wing groups), or any potential accomplices.

Former undercover detective and private investigator James Copenhaver agrees that the public could be misinformed on on a lot.

“Having been in Vegas on many trips, we all know these casinos are the most protected buildings in the Untied States. They all have top-notch security, with top-notch surveillance cameras. My first question is, if in fact this retired accountant stayed for several days with 10 – 20 weapons in his room, were the housekeepers blind?”

Did this man really not set off any alarms if he placed a do not disturb card on his door for that many days to conceal his cache of weapons? Hopefully there are guests or hotel staff that have come forward or are going to come forward with more information.”

Copenhaver served on several joint task forces with federal agencies while in law enforcement, including operations with F.B.I. He gave ongoing commentary during the Pulse shooting last summer in Orlando, and graduated number two in his undercover class at Quantico.

Jeremy Adams, an Orlando based entrepreneur, was at a party on the 64th floor of the Mandalay Bay, moments before the first shots rang out.

“I was on the 64th floor, which is the highest. As it all started, I was heading downstairs to grab a cab. I ended up leaving before all hell broke loose, but immediately saw a strong and heavily armed police presence once it started.”

Adams later posted a video to his Facebook profile filmed by a friend still at the party, which starts sometime after the first round of gunfire down onto the crowd, exactly 32 floors below. See it below.

People are heard in disbelief, even thinking for a moment that it had ended, before more shots are heard.

The immediate and strong police presence suggests that law enforcement has been placed on high alert internally, or that authorities may have been in some stage on investigation on Paddock prior to the shooting.

A women even gave an interview to a reporter, claiming that another women was removed from the concert 45-minutes prior to the shooting, after shouting that “everyone was going to die tonight.”

The women was described a shorter Hispanic female, which sounds an awful lot like Paddocks roomate/girlfriend, who has since been reported to be abroad.

Could this be the beginning of violence and revolution promised by radical groups like Antifa, who have been promoting violence as the proper outlet for disillusioned people?

Could it be a otherwise normal American who was radicalized by ISIS, who has claimed responsibility for the attack?

Photos from today also show two windows being blown out on the 32nd floor, from what appears to be separate rooms… after we have been continually told it was a long shooter.

“He had no known training or time spent at the range, yet this 64-year old was able to shoot down on this crowd of 22,000 in a tactical manner? He had no military experience.”

Copenhaver also pointed to the odd nature of the audio of the SWAT team entering the hotel and breaching Paddock’s room.

“I’ve listened to in-progress calls many times, in many different scenarios. After they entered the room, all we hear is that the shooter is down. We don’t hear anyone asking about injuries to any law enforcement officers involved.”

This could mean that police might have had prior knowledge that Paddock was dead before entering the room, or that he killed himself right before the breach.

The Violent Face of the EU is Revealed in Catalonia

by Tom Luongo, Russia Insider:

Spain’s violent opposition in Catalonia peels back the veneer of what the EU truly stands for…control.

Despite the best efforts of the European establishment, the Catalonia referendum finally went ahead as scheduled. Violence ensued.  Spain’s central government believes its laws are primary.

And that they have the right to suppress dissent based on that belief.

Because that is always what happens when a government’s authority is directly threatened by the people’s desire for something else. Violent suppression.

This event is a stark reminder of what George Washington said of government, “… is not reason, it is not eloquence — it is force. Like fire it is a dangerous servant and a fearful master; never for a moment should it be left to irresponsible action.

All of the niceties of orderly society dissolve when it reaches this point.  It’s all smiles and high-minded ideals until someone says, “No thanks. I don’t want what you’re selling.”

And that’s when the tanks roll in.

Governments operate on the mistaken belief that we cannot function without them.  They, and their apologists, are wrong.

Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, obviously under the orders of his EU masters and handlers in Brussels, learned nothing from history. He learned nothing from Tienanmen Square, the Berlin Wall, Moscow or even Brexit.

You cannot stop an idea whose time has come.  And thanks to one of the worst miscalculations by a government in a generation what was lukewarm support for independence galvanized into a near unanimous expression of disgust.

89{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} for, 11{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} against

Catalonia – Years in the Making

I’ve been following this story for years; watching it build to this point.  If it didn’t turn into violence this time then it would have the next.  Catalonia was told multiple times this vote was ‘illegal’ and yet they planned for it anyway.

They were told not to draft founding documents, and yet they did so.  While the official polling had Catalan independence support hovering below the 50{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} line, it beggars logic that those polls were accurate given the response from Rajoy’s government.

Simply put, the polls were lying and support for independence was far higher than anyone was willing to admit.  After the past two weeks of egregious moves to stop the vote from taking place, Spain’s central government created even more independent radicals.

This is a point lost in the apologia emanating from normally sober observers of geopolitics, in this case “B.” from Moon of Alabama, trying to frame this vote as anti-democratic.

Catalonia has a GDP per capita of some $33,580/year. For Spain as a whole the GDP per capita is $26,643/year. Many factors account for the difference. Catalonia has an advantages in climate, in the vicinity of the French border, the high attractiveness for tourists with its capital Barcelona and its beaches. It has a well developed industry. But the “rest of Spain” is also, by far, its biggest market.

A richer part of the country does not want to subsidize the poorer ones. But it still wants to profit from them.

In general, the splitting off of sub-states from the bigger, established nations weakens both.

The wistfulness of “B’s” tone here tells you everything you need to know.  He’s an unabashed German leftist.  His soak-the-rich ideology is more important than the right of people to be free to choose their destiny.

The final line quoted is laughable on the face of it.

If the arrangement between Catalonia and the rest of Spain was good for both we wouldn’t be here.  This isn’t some variation on ‘white privilege’ for rich Catalans.  It’s simple economics.

The EU is Broke(n)

Governments around the world are broke.  They are especially broke in the EU.  Catalonia no longer wanted to subsidize the debt incurred by Spain’s government (which is, frankly, insane) on top of the wealth transfers already in place.

Madrid opposed the vote because of the potential for breakdown of European capital markets and the inability for the European Central Bank to cover the fallout.  That’s where Rajoy’s orders came from.

The Globalists Are Systematically Destroying America’s Middle Class

0

by Michael Snyder, The Economic Collapse Blog:

When people are dependent on the government they are much easier to control.  We are often told that we are not “compassionate” when we object to the endless expansion of government social programs, but that is not how the debate should be framed.  In America today, well over 100 million people receive money from the federal government each month, and the number of Americans that are truly financially independent is continually shrinking.  In fact, only 25 percent of all Americans have more than $10,000 in savings right now according to one survey.  If we eventually get to the point where virtually all of us are dependent on the government for our continued existence, that would give the globalists a very powerful tool of control.  In the end, they want as many of us dependent on the government as possible, because those that are dependent on the government are a lot less likely to fight against their agenda.

Back in 1992, the bottom 90 percent of American income earners brought in more than 60 percent of the country’s income.  But last year that figure slipped to just 49.7 percent.  The wealth of our society is increasingly being concentrated at the very top, and the middle class is steadily being eroded.  Surveys have found that somewhere around two-thirds of the country is living paycheck to paycheck at least part of the time, and so living on the edge has become a way of life for most Americans.

Earlier today, I came across a Business Insider article that was bemoaning the fact that the U.S. economy seems to be rather directionless at this point…

  • We do not have a real plan for health care, and costs continue to gobble up American wages.
  • We do not have a plan for dealing with globalization and economic change, but that change continues to shape our economy.
  • We don’t have a plan to update our decrepit infrastructure.
  • The one plan we did have — the Federal Reserve’s post-financial crisis program — is about to be unwound, marking the end of the last clear, executable plan to bolster America’s economy.

Ultimately, the truth is that we don’t actually need some sort of “central plan” for our economy.  We are supposed to be a free market system that is not guided and directed by central planners, but many Americans don’t even understand the benefits of free market capitalism anymore.

However, that Business Insider article did make a great point about globalization.   Most people don’t realize that our economy is slowly but surely being integrated into a global economic system.   This is really bad for American workers, because now they are being merged into a global labor pool in which they must compete directly for jobs with workers in other countries where it is legal to pay slave labor wages.

Even down in Mexico, many autoworkers are only making $2.25 an hour

Most of the workers at the new Audi factory in the state of Puebla, inaugurated in 2016 and assembling the Audi Q4 SUV, which carries a sticker price in the US of over $40,000 for base versions, make $2.25 an hour, according to the Union.

Volkswagen, which owns Audi, started building Beetles in Puebla in 1967 and has since created a vast manufacturing empire in Mexico, with vehicles built for consumers in Mexico, the US, Canada, and Latin American markets.

Volkswagen, Ford, GM, or any of the global automakers, which can manufacture just about anywhere in the world, always search for cheap labor to maximize the bottom line.

Would you want to work for $2.25 an hour?

Over time, millions of good paying jobs have been leaving high wage countries and have been going to low wage countries.  The United States has lost more than 70,000 manufacturing facilities since China joined the WTO, and this is one of the biggest factors that has eroded the middle class.

In a desperate attempt to maintain our standard of living, we have gone into increasing amounts of debt.  Of course our federal government is now 20 trillion dollars in debt, but on an individual level we are doing the same thing.  Today, American consumers are over 12 trillion dollars in debt, and it gets worse with each passing day.

The borrower is the servant of the lender, and most Americans have become debt slaves at this point.  This is something that Paul Craig Roberts commented on recently

Americans carry on by accumulating debt and becoming debt slaves. Many can only make the minimum payment on their credit card and thus accumulate debt. The Federal Reserve’s policy has exploded the prices of financial assets. The result is that the bulk of the population lacks discretionary income, and those with financial assets are wealthy until values adjust to reality.

As an economist I cannot identify in history any economy whose affairs have been so badly managed and prospects so severely damaged as the economy of the United States of America. In the short/intermediate run policies that damage the prospects for the American work force benefit what is called the One Percent as jobs offshoring reduces corporate costs and financialization transfers remaining discretionary income in interest and fees to the financial sector. But as consumer discretionary incomes disappear and debt burdens rise, aggregate demand falters, and there is nothing left to drive the economy.

This debt-based system continuously funnels wealth toward the very top of the pyramid, because it is the people at the very top that hold all of the debts.

Each year it gets worse, and most Americans would be absolutely stunned to hear that the top one percent now control 38.6 percent of all wealth in the United States…

The richest 1{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} of families controlled a record-high 38.6{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} of the country’s wealth in 2016, according to a Federal Reserve report published on Wednesday.

That’s nearly twice as much as the bottom 90{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528}, which has seen its slice of the pie continue to shrink.

The bottom 90{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} of families now hold just 22.8{5f621241b214ad2ec6cd4f506191303eb2f57539ef282de243c880c2b328a528} of the wealth, down from about one-third in 1989 when the Fed started tracking this measure.

So how do we fix this?

Rohrabacher: Assange Has ‘Absolute Proof’ of Who Gave Him DNC Emails—and It Ain’t the Russians

by Debra Heine, PJ Media:

Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) says he has seen evidence that could disprove Russia-Trump collusion accusations once and for all, but he’s having a hard time getting his message through to the president.

WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange has offered to provide the evidence in exchange for a pardon from President Trump.

The congressman expressed confidence in an interview with OAN that the president will “get behind this” as soon he hears the message.

“I think he will because I’m going to try to overcome the obstacles in the way — which happens to be his staff,” he said. “So in the next few weeks, my job is to try to make sure the president’s staff doesn’t fence him off from this offer.”

Rohrabacher added, “I think that when he hears that there’s been an offer made, he will insist on knowing about it.”

He said that the one person who could prove or disprove charges that Trump and Russia colluded on hacking the DNC is Julian Assange — and no one has even bothered to go see him. Last month, Rohrabacher went to London to visit him at the Ecuadorian embassy himself.

“He has a story to tell,” Rohrabacher said. “He’s the one guy that I think the American people and the people in the world need to hear, and he’s the one guy that now our intelligence agencies as well at the powers that be in Washington don’t want anybody to hear….”

The congressman suggested that the intelligence agencies, headed by Obama appointees, had political motivations when they verified that the Russians had hacked the DNC.

“Julian Assange says that’s absolutely not true,” he said. “Absolutely, the Russians did not provide him with these emails” — but someone else did.

Rohrabacher said the WikiLeaks founder “has absolute proof of who gave him those emails” but he wants to secure a pardon before he provides the information — so that when he “leaves the Ecuadorian embassy, he doesn’t get arrested”

The congressman said people should not take Assange’s word for anything, but should instead look at the evidence he provides.

“We’re relying on him providing us evidence which we [the American people] then will evaluate and that will determine whether or not we believe his story as to who actually delivered those emails to him,” he said.

Rohrabacher told OAN in the second part of the exclusive interview (to be aired on Saturday) that “the American people don’t know as much as they should” and would be “outraged if they knew the full measure of the information withheld from them.”

“They Won’t Know What Hit Them” Shocking Undercover Footage Exposes Antifa’s “Premeditated” Violence

from Zero Hedge:

As if the public needed any more evidence that violence is a central part of Antifa’s mission, conservative comedian Steve Crowder has published footage that he and his producer surreptitiously recorded after infiltrating a local Antifa cell and accompanying it to a protest at the University of Utah.

The shockingly candid footage offers a disturbing glimpse into the innerworkings of Antifa – a loosely organized band of far-left agitators – and the central tenant of violent resistance that encapsulates the group’s philosophy. The footage primarily focuses on a transgender woman, the purported leader of a small cell of Antifa protesters, who can be heard telling Crowder’s producer that she’s armed with a handgun, and that she expects reinforcements to arrive later with “two AKs”. The organizer can also be heard recommending that Crowder’s producer buy a small blade at a military surplus store and strap it to his ankle “just in case.”

What they show appears to confirm that the group protesters were planning to disrupt a speaking event hosted by conservative commentator and Daily Wire founder Ben Shapiro, whom Antifa has accused of being a nazi despite the fact that he is Jewish. Shapiro’s recent appearances at UC Berkeley and other university campuses drew protests, with demonstrators labeling him a “fascist.”

But perhaps the most surprising thing about the footage was the fact that mainstream media reporters AND police essentially told Crowder & Co. to get lost when they shared it with them.

In another shocking excerpt, the Antifa leader – whom Crowder didn’t name because he said he didn’t want to “dox” anybody, though he added that police have confirmed that they have been monitoring her – described a plan to lure right-wing demonstrators to a secluded area where, presumably, they would be attacked by Antifa.

“Plain clothes, hard tactics, I don’t think they’ll know what hit them. Because they’re not prepared for what we’re planning,” the organizer says at one point.

In the video, another unnamed Antifa member who goes by the pseudonym Clark can be heard explaining that the difference between Antifa and other activist groups is a “willingness to respond with violence.”

As we’ve reported time and time again, Antifa protesters have been inciting violence across the country since Trump’s upset victory in November, beginning with protests during Trump’s inauguration that quickly turned violent in destructive.

According to Fox 13 News in Salt Lake City, Crowder published the undercover video Thursday that purports to show far left-wing protesters distributing weapons ahead of the speech. Crowder’s production team presented the video to police moments after it was recorded.

Yet after evaluating the video, the police determined that there was no credible threat.

“Police looked at the video, evaluated other information available to them, and determined the individuals did not pose a credible threat that warranted action,” Nelson told Fox 13 News.

Similarly violent clashes instigated by members of the far-left group erupted on the campus of UC Berkeley in early February, where members of the group hurled Molotov cocktails and attacked “facists” and “nazis” who were attending a speaking event by Milo Yiannopoulos, causing extensive property damage on campus.

While both the mainstream media and more mainstream leftists initially defended the group, public sentiment has soured on the group.

Several media organizations – including the LA Times, Washington Post, the Atlantic, Bloomberg and the Wall Street Journal – have criticized the group’s violent tactics. A month ago, it was reported that the FBI and the Department of Homeland Security classified Antifa as a “domestic terrorist” group in internal communications that described them as “primary instigators of violence at public rallies” going back to at least April 2016 when the reports were first published.”

YOU’VE BEEN WARNED: The US Military Is Quietly Building SkyNet

0

from Zero Hedge:

Maybe Elon Musk had a point…

The US’s military leaders have agreed on a strategy to guarantee the US military retains its global dominance during the twenty-first century: Connect everything with everything, as DefenseOne describes it. The result? An unimaginably large cephapoloidal nervous systemarmed with the world’s most advanced weaponry, and in control of all military equipment belonging to the world’s most powerful army.

Sound familiar? It should…

A networked military – an extreme take on the “internet of things” – would connect everything from F-35 jets to the Navy’s destroyers to the armor of the tanks crawling over the land to the devices carried by soldiers – every weapon would be connected.  Every weapon, vehicle, and device connected, sharing data, constantly aware of the presence and state of every other node in a truly global network.

Of course, the development of these “smart” weapons should unnerve Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has repeatedly warned that AI and machine learning poses a greater threat to the future of the US than North Korea. If not properly regulated, Elon suggested that machines could turn against their human masters.

“Until people see robots going down the street killing people, they don’t know how to react because it seems so ethereal,” he said.

“AI is a rare case where I think we need to be proactive in regulation instead of reactive. Because I think by the time we are reactive in AI regulation, it’s too late.”

The Joint Chiefs of Staff described their vision for a completely networked military in the newest iteration of their National Military Strategy, which lays out their plans for building the military’s weapon of the future. Ironically, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein said he had based the plan on a certain money-losing electric-car manufacturer. Goldfein was particularly impressed by Tesla’s ability to remotely extend the battery life of vehicles as their owners fled Hurricane Irma earlier this month.

In recent months, the Joint Chiefs of Staff put together the newest version of their National Military Strategy. Unlike previous ones, it is classified. But executing a strategy requiring buy-in and collaboration across the services. In recent months, at least two of the service chiefs talked openly about the strikingly similar direction that they are taking their forces. Standing before a sea of dark- blue uniforms at a September Air Force Association event in Maryland, Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. David Goldfein said he had “refined” his plans for the Air Force after discussions with the Joint Chiefs “as part of the creation of the classified military strategy.”

The future for the Air Force? The service needed to be more like a certain electric-car manufacturer.

“Every Tesla car is connected to every other Tesla car,” said Goldfein, referring to a presentation by Elon Musk about the ways his firm’s vehicles learn from their collective experience. “If a Tesla is headed down the road and hits a pothole, every Tesla that’s behind it that’s self-driving, it will avoid the pothole, immediately. If you’re driving the car, it automatically adjusts your shocks in case you hit it, too.”

Goldfein waxed enthusiastically about how Tesla was able to remotely increase the battery capacity of cars in the U.S. Southeast to facilitate evacuation before the recent hurricanes.

“What would the world look like if we connected what we have in that way? If we looked at the world through a lens of a network as opposed to individual platforms, electronic jamming shared immediately, avoided automatically? Every three minutes, a mobility aircraft takes off somewhere on the planet. Platforms are nodes in a network,” the Air Force chief said.

As DefenseOne explains, the idea of a networked military borrows from the“network centric warfare” concept that first emerged more than a decade ago. However, the concept that military leaders proposed in their latest review is less a strategy for increasing efficiency than a plan to connect all military equipment on a single network. The result would be better coordinated, faster, and more lethal operations in air, land, sea, space, and cyberspace.

The Air Force has begun making broad investments in data sharing. And its experiments with next-generation light tactical attack aircraft are as much about hardware as networks, he said. “Not only what can I buy and what can they do, but more importantly, can they connect? Can they actually share? And can we tie it to a new network that’s based on sharable information that gets me beyond the challenges I have right now in terms of security?” Goldfein said.

The Air Force Science Board is studying how to control a network of military equipment including light attack aircraft, tanks and even unmanned drones. James Chow, the board’s new head, told DefenseOne the study would also consider how to connect to other services.

As DefenseOne explains, although most of the research into the networked military is being conducted by the Air Force, once implemented, any system would likely include weapons from across the military, like Navy destroyers, said Chow.

“Our scope would be in helping the Air Force to think about operations they would be conducting that would incorporate joint sensors and platforms, like destroyers, I think that has to be part of it. And that is within the charter of the study,” Chowsaid, adding that the study has “the highest priority level for Air Force leadership.”

The Marines are also looking at tanks that are digitally connected through their armor, according to Lt. Gen. Robert Walsh, who leads Marine Corps Combat Development Command and serves as Deputy Commandant for Combat Development and Integration. Navy leaders have also authorized research into connecting every object on the sea, land, air, space and in cyberspace. This is no exaggeration. Adm. John Richardson, Chief of Naval Operations, said during a Navy expo earlier this year that he’d eventually like to “network everything,” explaining that creating such a system would be crucial to maintaining US military dominance.
